JJ’s point of view:

After Sophia ran off, I asked Bella to go home. I went to Sophia’s room and just layed in her bed, regretting everything I said. I had been laying there for prolly an hour before my phone started ringing. I didn’t recognize the number but decided to answer it.

“Hello?” I say.

“Hi, this is Ivy, from the Outer Banks Medical center.” She says. “We have Sophia Rose Routledge in room 208.”

“What happened to her?” I ask, getting worried.

“She was hit by a car, I tried calling John Booker Routledge but got no response. You are the second one on her call list.”

“Okay, can I come visit her,” I ask.

“Yes.” The lady says.

“Okay, I’ll be there soon. Is she awake?”

“No, she is not, but she is breathing. When you arrive the doctor will fill you in.”

“Okay.” I say, ending the call. I get up out of her bed and walk to the living room. John B and Sarah are cuddling on the couch and watching tv.

“Guys,” I say in almost a whisper. “Sophias in the hospital.”

“What?” John B exclaims getting up.

“I’ll explain in the car, we need to go see her.” I say, holding back tears. The three of us walk out to the twinkie. When we get in we all buckle.

“Explain.” John B says.

“She was hit by a car,” I say, tears rolling down my cheeks.

“Oh my god,” Sarah says, her cheeks turn rosey red and her eyes fill with tears. John B doesn’t say anything. I can tell he was about to cry. I just wish I wouldn’t have said those things to her. What if she dies and im left with the guilt of knowing I fucked up. I hope she’s okay.

Before I knew it were pulling into the hospital parking lot. I don’t even let the car come to a stop before I get out and run inside. The lady at the front desk gives me a weird look.

“I'm here for Sophia Routledge,” I say.

“Room 208,” She says, seeming annoyed.

I run to the elevator and go to the second floor. 200. 201. 202. 203. 204. 205. 206. 207. 208. That's her, I open the door and see her lying on the bed, wires coming out of her everywhere.

“Oh my god,” I say out loud. I walk over to the bed and sit down in the chair. She has a cast on her left arm and left leg. She looks so rough. Her skin isn’t the same tan color it normally was, it was very pale. Her lips were a blueish purple instead of the pretty pink color.

“Sophia, I’m so sorry,” I say in a whisper. Not knowing if she can hear me or not. “This is all my fault. If I wouldn’t have said any of that you wouldn’t be here now. Everything I said didn’t mean anything. I think you are so gorgeous and the most amazing girl I have ever met. You always know how to make me smile. You always comfort me after my dad goes crazy and hits me. I don’t know what I would do without you.” At this point I was crying.

“I love you, Sophia. I always have. I’m so, so sorry.” I say.

Authors note:
I know this chapter is really short. I just wanted to do JJ’s point of view!
