Chapter 26

When we arrive at the Outer Banks Medical center, we walk inside and go to the lady at the front desk.

“Hi!” She says with a bright smile.

“Hi, I’m Sarah Cameron. I have an appointment with Dr. May at 1,” She says.

“Oh right! She is ready for you know, follow me,” The receptionist says. We follow her to the elevator and go up to the second floor. We walk into the first room on the right. 

“You guys can sit down, I’ll go get Dr. May,” The receptionist says.

“Okay,” Sarah says. She hops up on the bed and I sit in the chair that’s nearby. I look on my phone and see JJ had texted me.

Pretty boy

I’m going to John B’s so 

don’t worry about going 

back to the house when 

you’re done.

Okay, were waiting for the Dr. to come in rn

Okay, babe. I love you

I love you too

I look up at the door as the doctor walks in.

“Hi girls!” The doctor says.

“Hi,” I say, flashing her a smile.

“Hello,” Sarah says.

“So I’m going to have you pee in this cup so we can get the results,” The doctor says, pulling a cup out from under the sink. She opens the door and Sarah follows her to the bathroom. I open up tik tok and scroll through. A couple minutes later Sarah walks back in and sits down on the bed. 

“She is putting my pee through the machine right now,” Sarah says, letting out a nervous breath. I stand up and hug her.

“I love you,” I say.

“I love you too, Sophia. Thanks for always being there for me.” Sarah says.

“Of course,” I say, sitting back down in my chair. Around 30 minutes later the doctor walks in.

“And you are… PREGNANT!” The doctor says.

“Yayy!” I say. Sarah starts crying tears of joy.

“Oh my god, I’m gonna have a baby!” Sarah exclaims.

“Congratulations, hunny,” The doctor says. She sits down at the computer and types some things in.

“Thank you,” Sarah says.

“You are very welcome, you will have to come back here on August 7th for your 3 week check up. You are 1 week along,” She says, sweetly.

“Okay!” Sarah says.

“You ladies are free to go, have a good day,” The Dr. May says.

“Thank you so much,” Sarah says leaving the room.

“Have a nice day,” I say, following not far behind Sarah. When we get to the car Sarah screams with excitement.

“I’m so happy right now,” Sarah says.

“Me too,” I say. “Now let’s go back to the chateau and tell everyone!”

“Actually about that, I think we should prank them first,” Sarah says.

“Oh my god, yes! Go on,” I say.
