We pull up to the dock. Kie and Pope are waiting at the end of it.
“Sophia!” Kie yells, jumping onto the boat.
“Kie!” I say. Pope jumps on the boat and sits by JJ and Bella. Kie comes and sits by Sarah and I.
“I’m sorry,” She says quietly. “I know how much you hate her.”
“It’s fine,” I say.
John B speeds away.. We all make small talk, mostly ignoring JJ and Bella. Once we find a good spot to swim John B ties off the boat at a random dock.I zone out thinking about Bela.
“Hey, Sophia?” Kie says, noticing that I am zoning out.
“Hm?”
“You okay, you look like you’re in a whole another dimension” Kie says looking concerned.
“Don’t worry I am fine.” I say forcing a smile.
Kie nods and goes back to the conversation with Sarah. I overheard JJ say something to Bella.
“Don’t you dare compare yourself to Sophia ever. You’re perfect.” He says while pushing her hair behind her ear.
My heart drops. tears forming in my eyes.
“Sophia? What’s wrong?” Kie says, rubbing her hand on my back.
“I am gonna go,” I say, since we're tied to a random dock on the kook side of the land.
I grab my bag and walk off the boat ignoring the people yelling for me to come back. I keep walking past the kook houses, ignoring all the stares I was getting. Tears staining my face as I walk back to the chateau.
JJ’s Pov
“I'm gonna go,” Sophia said as she walked off the boat.
“Sophia!”
“Come back!”
“What’s wrong?”
Everyone was screaming at the crying girl walking away from the boat. Well except Bella, she couldn’t give two shits about Sophia.
“Sophia! Princess! Come back!” I scream, what the fuck happened.
I go to stand to chase her but Bella pulls me down, “Don’t worry about her, she is just being overdramatic.” I stare at the girl.
“Umm excuse me don’t you dare talk about Sophia like that!” Kie yells at Bella.
“What the fuck did you guys do to her?” I ask
“What did I do? You’re the reason she is crying, you fucking idiot. She heard what you said to Bella!” Sarah yells.
I throw my hat on the ground.
“It’s Sophia, she will just be going back to the Chateau don't worry she will be okay,” Pope says and everyone nods except for me. She deserves better than me. God I am so stupid.
Sophia’s Pov
I walk into the chateau and go straight to my room. I slam the door and jump on my bed, crying.
Do I mean nothing to him?
He is dating Bella, not you.
He likes Bella, not you.
Bella is perfect, you are worthless.
No one cares about you.
You are the reason mom left.
Tears stain my face as I make my way to the living room. I decide to go for a walk.
JJ’s Pov
It’s been 2 hours now and we all have decided to go back to the Chateau. I tell Bella to go home, she has fucked up my life enough.
“Bella better not hang out with us ever again.” John B says with anger.
“Yea, if she does I’m not coming,” Kie says.
“I know, Okay? Can we just go back to the chateau? I want to make sure Sophia is okay,” I say feeling guilty.
“Okay then let’s go,” Pope says as he drives the boat back to the chateau.
We sat in silence for 5 minutes while we drive back. We reached the dock and I run into the chateau. I search the whole place. No sign of Ash.
“Fuck!” I scream, I have fucked up everything.
I quickly get up and go to my dirtbike.
“JJ, what’s wrong??” Kie asks, confused.
“I have fucked everything up with Sophia, she isn’t here.” I say as I speed of not knowing where I was going.
“JJ!” I hear someone yell. I slow down and look for a figure somewhere but can’t see anyone standing.
“JJ! Here!” I look down at the bottom of a tree. “Sophia?”
“Sophia, holy shit,” I say as I quickly get off my dirt bike and run over to her.
She looked terrible, her face was all beat up and blood was coming out of her mouth.
“Shh, shh, I am here, I am here now,” I say holding the girl that is falling limp. “Sophia, we need to get you back to the house.” But before she could respond she faints.
“Sophia!”
