Chapter 22

JJ and I have been laying on the couch for two hours just watching movies and enjoying being with each other. Kie texted me a few seconds ago letting me know her and Pope were on their way to hang out. I haven’t told her about Sarah, I figured it would be better if she told them herself. I hear footsteps on the porch and figure it's Kie and Pope. A couple seconds go by and nobody walked in. I get up off the couch and walk to the door. When I open it I see Kie and Pope on the couch, Kie is smoking a blunt.

“Excuse me!” I say walking out on the porch.

Kie laughs and holds up the blunt. “Come here, pretty lady.” I walk over to her and take it out of her hand, inhaling it a couple times. JJ walks out onto the porch.

“I smell weed,” he says. We all laugh at him and I hand him the blunt and sit down on the ground.

“Where is everyone?” Kie ask.

“Um, John B left and Sarah’s taking a nap,” I say, stealing the blunt back from JJ.

“I’m gonna text him and ask him to bring us back some beer,” Pope says, pulling out his phone.

“I’ll be right back,” I say. I hand Kie the blunt and walk inside. I go to John B’s room and the door is open. Sarah is sitting on the bed with her phone in front of her.

“Hey, Barbie,” I say, sitting next to her on the bed.

“Hi,” She says.” I texted John B, he’s coming back here, so we can talk.”

“That’s good,” I say.

“Yea,” She sighs.

“Well come on, Kie and Pope are here,” I say standing up. She gets out of bed and we walk out to the porch. I sit on JJ’s lap and Sarah sit’s next to Pope on the couch.

“And the princess awakes,” Pope says.

She laughs at his comment, ”I’m awake.”

We all mess around for a few until John B gets there. He pulls into the driveway and jumps out of the twinkie. He runs up the porch stairs and smashes his lips on Sarahs. We all ew and boo them. 

“I’m so sorry,” He says.

“It’s okay, now can we talk in private?” She asks. He picks her up and carries her into the house.

“What was that all about?” Kie asks.

“Sarah will have to tell you,” I say.

“Okay,” She says, shrugging her shoulders.

 We hang out on the porch for a few hours, talking and messing around. Sarah and John B joined us not too long ago.

“Pope and I are gonna go to the wreck and get some food,” Kie says.

“Yea, JJ and I are gonna go back to his house for a few,” I say.

“Okay, you guys wanna all meet back here later and we're gonna drink some beer?” John B asks. I look at JJ and he nods his head. 

“Yea, we're cool with that,” JJ says.

“Okay, see y’all later,” John B says.
