Time passed by quickly. I became busy with filming and pictorials and album preparations as soon as Stray Kids debuted. I congratulated Chan and the others on their debut. They were busy with promotions while I was busy with my preparation. Because I was really busy with work, Jun Woo oppa had to take care of the twins. The twins barely saw me. I left home before they were awake and came home after they've gone to bed. People at school were very much surprised when I suddenly came to school with highlighted hair. And when the teaser was revealed, people who saw started talking. My album was released a week before my official debut showcase. I didn't really expect much for my showcase. But to my surprise, the venue was filled with fans. I was really surprised and happy that I ended up crying during the showcase.

When I've finally made my debut, I received a lot of attention at school. But I just acted the way I always did. I did miss some days at school because of promoting on music shows. It was a bit lonely for me since I was performing alone. But my managers helped me a lot. Stray Kids and I did bump into each other at broadcasting stations when our schedules overlapped. I was really happy that my songs were charting. And I really received a lot of love from the groups I've worked with before. By the end of my promotion period, I was seriously exhausted. But my song peaked at number 3 on the charts and album sales were great. And then I was able to go back to my old routine of school, work and taking care of the twins. Chan was really busy that we mostly talked on the phone but we rarely saw each other. Besides Chan, his eomma called me a lot and encouraged me too. And I was really thankful to her.

It was while they were promoting My Pace, that our day off overlapped. Chan had told me that he'll be spending a day at my home to relax during his day off. So I told him to come when he wanted. On the day of my day off, I woke up early even though it was a weekend. My family had gone to work because of a meeting. So, it was only me and the twins at home. I cleaned the living room quickly and did the laundry. While the laundry was in the washing machine, I went to the kitchen and started making breakfast. I was mixing the pancake batter when I heard the door open and close. I ignored it since I thought that it was just someone from the family. I had just started cooking pancakes when someone suddenly wrapped their arms around my waist and put their chin on my shoulder.

"I'm home." He said. I turned and saw that it was Chan.

"Ya, you sound tired." 

"I am tired. What are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm making pancakes for breakfast. I have to fry eggs and bacon too. Did you have breakfast?"

"I haven't eaten yet. Do you need help with frying eggs and bacon?"

"Hey, you really sound tired. Go and lie down. I'll call you when it's time to eat."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course! Now, go." I said. And then he let me go and left.

Chan's POV

I've been so exhausted these days and I knew I needed a break. Making songs after songs and handling the guys at home definitely exhausts me. But I do love what I'm doing. So when Se Rin offered to let me relax at their place, I knew I had to go.

Arriving at their place, the smell of something cooking hits my senses. I followed the sweet scent to the kitchen and saw her back towards me. She had her hair up in a ponytail and she seemed so focused yet relaxed at what she was doing. The way she looked and how she was acting right now makes me feel things. It makes me just want to wake up to this every morning.
