To say the we were busy was an understatement. We were literally frazzled all day. After leaving the twins at kindergarten, we went for marriage counseling and going to different meetings with important people all morning. After lunch, we checked out the different venues and decided on the banquet hall that was accessible to everyone. We even already booked for our preferred wedding date and paid part of the fee already, making sure that we have it booked for our wedding. Then we moved on to meeting with a wedding planner. We talked about our preferences and even decided the color scheme of our wedding.
By the end of the day, we had already gotten our marriage license, booked a wedding hall, settled everything with the wedding planner, had our wedding rings designed and sent to the maker, booked an appointment with a designer for my wedding dress and his suit, and booked an appointment with a studio for our babies' monthly pictorials and our prenuptial photoshoot.
We were exhausted when we arrived at home. But we did our best to fulfill our duties as parents. Before going to sleep that night, we prepared the baby bags we'll need to bring with us. We made sure we had everything and brought the bag down to the car along with the baby seats, strollers and carriers. We collapsed in bed that night. But we were happy.
The next few days were hectic. We had our appointment with our designer. After going to the designer, we settled a few more things for the wedding and then we went home. The twins were as excited as us for the wedding. They kept talking about it. Soo Hyun wouldn't stop talking about wearing a pretty dress and seeing their little siblings dressed up too.
Time seemed to pass by for us since we were busy with work, taking care of our children and preparing for our wedding. Stray Kids released album after album while I did the same. I had released 2 albums in a span of a couple of months. But of course, I wasn't promoting them on music shows. When Christmas came, Felix celebrated with us since the others went home. We were all happy and the kids absolutely love Felix. But it wasn't just Christmas that got us excited. We were counting down the days to our wedding which we scheduled in mid-January.
Christmas came and went. Then the new year arrived. We had all gotten a year older and the wedding was closer. Everything was already settled. The invitations have been sent, our clothes have been fitted and delivered. The rings, the venue, the flowers and everything else were ready. We've just wrapped up our prenup photoshoot and had to say good bye to each other. We didn't want to separate, but we had to. Chan and the twins were brought to their suite on the 10th floor while I was led to my suite at the 8th floor. Eomma and the babies were staying with me. I was both nervous and excited since our wedding was tomorrow. I had trouble falling asleep that night. I was both nervous and excited about the wedding. But I still thankfully managed to fall asleep.
I woke up to the sound of my babies crying. I immediately tended to their needs before heading to the bathroom to take a relaxing bath before getting ready. I pampered myself and relaxed in the warm bath. When I got out of the bathroom, I got dressed and then we were shuttled off to the venue where I was going to get ready. The stylists, eomma and eomeoni were already there when the babies and I arrived. Mine and Chan's eommas helped me with the babies and tended to their needs while I was getting ready for the wedding. I could feel the time slipping way too quick. Before I even realized it, I was all ready for my wedding. The wedding planner had informed eomma that it was almost time.
Chan's POV
I was jittery all morning. I was really nervous but the kids kept me occupied. After going through our morning routine, the twins and I were shuttled off to the venue to get ready. When we arrived, mine and Se Rin's abeoji were already waiting for us. While I was getting ready, our appas got the twins ready. When we were all ready, I could feel the nervousness creep up to me again.
I kept fidgeting and pacing around my waiting room. Our fathers distracted me by reassuring me that everything will be okay and that Se Rin's almost done getting ready. Soon, the wedding planner knocked on my door and told me that it was time. With that, our fathers gave me one last hug before my parents took their place beside me. I stood there, nervously waiting for the door to open.
When it did, I smiled and let my parents guide me down the aisle. I looked around and saw our friends there with wide smiles on their faces. Soo Bin and Hee Jin were also there with their little boy Min Soo. The rest of Stray Kids kept smirking at me and trying to make me laugh. And then, without me noticing, we were at the end of the aisle. My parents gave me a very tight hug and then left me there to go to their places.
Se Rin's POV
I sat there in my waiting room in silence, nervously playing with my bouquet. The silence was disturbed when I heard a knock on the door. I looked up to see my parents standing there, smiling at me. I was still really nervous, but their presence reassured me. I stood up and was immediately pulled into their embrace.
"I still can't believe that my little girl is an eomma and is already getting married." Said appa.
"It's time my little girl." Said eomma.
"I'm nervous." I confessed.
"Don't be. We'll all be there for you and Chan. Come on. It's time." said eomma.
They led me to the entrance of the hall. The wedding planner was carrying the train of my dress for me as we walked. Both my parents gave my hands a reassuring squeeze as we stood there nervously. Then I heard my cue. I took a deep breath as the doors opened.
