The next morning, oppa came to the office with me. I was nervous as I entered the conference room. Everyone in the room looked surprised when they saw me entering with someone they didn't know. I quickly introduced oppa and explained that I needed him there for moral support. They agreed and then we began our meeting. They told me their terms and then I stood up and showed them everything I got from the hospital. They were all surprised at what they saw.

"I'm really sorry for causing you trouble. But I have no thoughts of getting rid of the babies. I can't tell you who the father is since I haven't told him anything yet. I do want to continue working here. But I know that this pregnancy will bring you all too much trouble. I'm really sorry." I said and then I bowed down.

"Se Rin ah, we guessed just as much when you ran out of the meeting yesterday. We actually considered this option already. We don't want to lose you as you've worked with us for some time already and every music you release is successful. We do not want to lose such a talent like you." said my boss.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"I suggested that you continue being our artist but you won't promote on music shows for a while."

"You won't kick me out?" I asked.

"No. Everything, we mentioned earlier on the revised contract is included. We want to keep you with us. So, do we have an agreement?" he said. I thought about it for a moment and then I looked at oppa who just smiled at me.

"Yes. Thank you for wanting to work with me." I said and then I shook hands with them.

I signed the contract after re-reading the content. We shook hands again and then they congratulated me on my pregnancy. I thanked them and then I gathered my things and headed out with everyone else. As we walked through the corridors, I worried that Chan and the others might see me and Jun Woo oppa. I asked oppa to wait for me at the car while I went to see my managers. We gathered in my studio and that was where I told them that I had re-signed with the company and told them the pregnancy news. They all congratulated me and I asked them not to let anyone know about it. They promised me and then I excused myself because of oppa.

I was getting nervous as I made my way to the elevator. It's like I can feel Chan approaching even before I heard their voices. I prayed that I could make it to the elevator without meeting them. But of course, luck wasn't on my side. I had to stop in front of the elevators to wait for it to arrive. When I heard someone call my name, I took a deep breath and made sure that nothing seemed wrong.

"Nuna!" called Jeong In.

"Oh, hey!" I replied.

"Where are you heading nuna?" asked Ji Sung.

"I'm going to the parking. Jun Woo oppa is waiting for me." I replied and then I heard Sun Gyu oppa's voice calling my name.

"Se Rin ah!" I heard and then I saw oppa coming over.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You left your test results in the studio." He said as he handed me the paper which I quickly hid in my bag.

"Thank you oppa." I said and then he excused himself.

"What test result was that?" asked Chan worriedly.

"Oh, I went to the hospital yesterday for my checkup. That was just the result of my usual tests." I lied.

"Oh, okay." He said and then he held my hand.

"Where are you going by the way?" I asked them.

"We're going to eat lunch at the cafeteria." Replied Min Ho. And then my phone rang and I picked up.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Are you free now Se Rin? Hee Jin wants to go somewhere with you. I think she just wants to hang out with you." said Soo Bin.

"Yeah. Sure. I'm free. Should we have lunch together?"

"Of course! I'll send you the location and then Hee Jin wants to buy some more things for the baby."

"So, we're going shopping for baby things?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah."

"Great! I'm buying cute baby shoes. And maybe we can buy some rattles and everything."

"You sound excited."

"Well, I am excited! I'll see you in a bit!" I said and then we hung up.

"Let's get in." said Chan as he pulled me into the elevator with him and Min Ho.

"Oh, okay." I said and smiled.

"Hey, is everything okay?" asked Chan as soon as the doors closed.

"Yeah!" I replied with a smile.

"So, what were you so excited about?"

"I'm going to hang out with Soo Bin and Hee Jin. We're buying baby things since Hee Jin is almost due." I replied excitedly.

"We're almost at our stop. I'll call you later babe." He said and then Chan let go of my hand.

They were about to get off when a wave of nausea hit me. I hated that this was happening now but I had no choice. I covered my mouth with my palm and pushed them lightly as I ran to the nearest comfort room. I vomited as soon as I reached the cubicle. I managed to finally calm down. I quickly rinsed my mouth and then I washed my hands and got ready to go out again. I was surprised to see Chan standing outside.

"Babe, are you really okay?" he asked worriedly.

"I'm really fine. I've just eaten something that didn't really suit my stomach. So, don't worry too much babe."

"Okay. I'll call you later. I love you." he said as he squeezed my hand which he held in his.

"I love you too." I replied and then he walked me to the elevators.

I panicked as soon as the door closed. But I managed to calm myself down. When I arrived at the parking, I asked oppa to bring me to the location Soo Bin sent and told him that I'll be hanging out with them. He told me okay and then he brought me to the restaurant. I thanked oppa and said that Soo Bin will be the one giving me a ride home. They were sitting at one of the tables in the restaurant. Hee Jin saw me and quickly waved her hand. I smiled behind my mask and headed to their table. I joined them and we had a wonderful lunch together. Hee Jin and I mostly talked about babies and taking care of kids.

Chan's POV

Something was definitely off. Something's going on with her. She's definitely not okay. She's feeling something but is obviously keeping it from me. Just hearing her manager talking about a test result from the hospital got me worried about her. But actually seeing her looking pale and tired is enough to distract me all day just because I'm worried about her. 

I just want to drop everything and run home to her. I just want to make sure that she's okay. But I know I can't do that right now. We're so busy that I barely even have time to rest. Although I was busy all day long, my mind kept wandering to her. During our break, I immediately called eomeoni and asked about her. She reassured me that Se Rin was just fine. But that wasn't enough for me. I guess I'll just have to trust her and wait for her to tell me everything herself.
