Halloween Chapter by lunaectic on Spotify
"Zion, it's not what it looks like," I said.
"Oh yeah? Then what the fuck does it look like?!" Zion shouted.
"Chill out, Zion," Dabi said, getting up from the bed.
"Don't you dare tell me to chill out! You were on top of my best friend!"
My mind was running at a thousand miles per hour. I didn't know how to deescalate the situation in front of me. Zion was pissed and was screaming at Dabi and me. The effects of the cocaine were starting to fade and I needed another fix. I got up and left the room.
Zion shouted for me to come back, but I ignored her. I rushed down the stairs and snuck my way back into the bedroom where Anilese was. I closed the door behind me and saw her sitting on the bed. I went up to her and she looked up at me.
"Welcome back, you want some more?" Anilese asked.
I nodded and she made her way over to the nightstand. Anilese pulled out the baggie she showed me earlier and poured some out. She pulled out a card and started dividing the drug into thin lines. She was careful with what she was doing.
"Alright. It's all ready," Anilese said.
I looked at the nightstand and saw three lines of cocaine in front of me. I went down and snorted one of the lines. I threw my head back and rubbed my nose. My heart was already beating out of my chest from the coke and situation.
I giggled and watched Anilese snort one of the lines. I shook my head as the drug kicked into my system again. My head was light and I stumbled backward. I took in a deep breath as I felt my heart speed up. I walked out of the bedroom after thanking the girl and made my way to the living room.
I had no idea where I was and who I was. I felt like I was floating in the middle of the living room and nothing seemed to matter. I know I'll have to face Zion eventually about what happened upstairs. I wasn't ready, and I didn't want to deal with anything.
Someone grabbed my wrist and I made me come back down to Earth. I looked over and saw Dabi next to me, checking my pulse.
"Your heart is going to explode. We need to get you to a hospital," Dabi said.
"What about Zion? What did you do with her?" I asked.
"Nothing. I told her to keep her mouth shut and to stop being so protective of you," He said.
"What's going on?" Hawks said from behind.
Dabi handed my arm to Hawks. "Check her pulse and look at her eyes."
Hawks placed his fingers on my wrist and grabbed my chin, making me look at him. I couldn't feel anything. I felt a little too good to even care that Hawks was finding out I did cocaine.
"Y/N, what the hell did you do?" Hawks asked.
"She's on coke, dumbass. We have to get her to a hospital," Dabi said.
"I don't need to go anywhere," I said. "I'm fine."
As if things could get any worse, Zion was headed straight for us. She moved between Dabi and me and was basically glaring daggers at him. Now that Zion was here, I was starting to get worried that she was going to find out what was going on with me.
"Hawks, did he do anything to Y/N?" Zion asked, looking back over to the winged man.
"Dabi hasn't done anything to her. Ease up a little bit," Hawks said, placing his hand on Zion's shoulder.
