The music from the club was loud. I finally managed to get in after waiting in line for almost thirty minutes. The lights in the club were pink yet dim. I couldn't see very well so I activated my night vision. This quirk I have isn't the greatest, but it's gotten me in and out of places pretty fast.

I looked around for Giran, but I couldn't. I could text him, but the last time I did that, he didn't answer me. Bodies were pressed against each other and the room was hot. People were grinding and swaying to the music. I really needed air, but I need my drugs first.

I made it to the back where the private lounges were. I looked through the white beads that hung over the doorframe. I peaked into two of the rooms, but he wasn't in there. I made it to the third room and saw him.

A petite light-skinned woman with long, curly black hair had Giran's arm wrapped around her shoulders. Giran's head picked up and he smiled at me. I didn't bother to smile back at him. Don't get me wrong, I think he's okay, but he's not exactly my favorite person. He's my dealer, not my friend.

"Welcome, Y/N. How are you doing this fine evening?" Giran asked.

"I'm fine," I said as I pulled the money out of my pocket.

"Slow down," He said. "You're antsy for this stuff, aren't you?"

"Yeah, kind of," I said.

"You're not addicted, are you?"

"I don't see why you care. You're still getting your money and I'm getting my fix."

"Addicts that die from my stuff make law enforcement start investigating me," He said condescendingly.

I went quiet. I didn't want to talk anymore to him. I don't know if he knows about the overdose I had. It technically wasn't his doing. It was Anilese's, but it was still his cocaine. I held the money out in my hand to my dealer and he opened his jacket. In a small baggie, there were five Xanax bars.

We switched our items and I shoved the pills in my trench coat. I didn't bother to say "bye" or "thanks." I turned around and left the private lounge. I made my way to the exit until someone grabbed my wrist. I yanked my hand out and turned to look who it was.

A man with blonde hair and brown eyes, almost six feet tall, and wearing a white suit was the one who grabbed my hand. I eyed him up and down, basically glaring at him. I shoved my hands in my pockets and took a step back from him.

"Sorry, that was rude of me," He said. "I was wondering if you wanted to dance."

"I'm good. I have somewhere to be," I said.

"I just saw you make your way out of the private lounge where Giran is. Dance this one song with me or I'll report you for buying drugs," He said.

Anxiety shot through my body and I had to keep my cool. Was he watching me this whole time? Who the fuck is this guy? God, I just want to go home.

"Okay, but just this one song," I rolled my eyes. "Then you'll let me go?"

"A man always keeps his promise," He smirked.

"Yeah, okay. A man," I snickered.

The man held his hand out to me and I took one of my hands out of my pockets, grabbing his hand. He leads me to the middle of the dancefloor and I wanted to melt into the floor just so I didn't have to dance with him.

The lights in the club changed to a blue color. I didn't feel like getting a good look at this man's face anymore so I turned my night vision off. The club was a lot darker than before and I was kind of happy. The man turned me around and placed his hands on my waist. I sucked in a breath and bit the inside of my cheek.
