Jo stood under the waterfall of the shower head, letting the warmth relax her muscles, sore from their early morning activities. She closed her eyes ignoring the anxiety that had begun creeping back in. She knew they were meeting Zemo today and as pleasurable as their morning was, Jo still couldn't help but feel uneasy. Hating the idea of Zemo being involved in anyway.

After a few minutes of the feeling not subsiding, she turned off the water. Wringing her hair out and wrapping herself in one of the plush hotel towels. Jo opened the door to the bathroom, stepping around the corner seeing Bucky sat at the small desk. His large frame hunched over, reviewing a few of the files she assumed Sam had dropped off while she was in the shower.

Bucky lifted his head hearing the bathroom door open, spinning around and giving her a smile. His eyes trailed up and down her barely covered body as he stood. He approached her, his hands wrapping around her waist as he buried his face in her neck, taking in her fresh vanilla scent from the hotel soap. Jo let out a soft moan as she pressed her body to his, still holding the towel with one hand as she wrapped the other around him.

"Bucky..." She whispered as his gentle kitten kisses turned into opened mouth nips along her collar bone.

"Yes?"

"I need to get dressed." She chuckled softly as he rested his forehead on her shoulder for a moment before lifting his eyes to hers.

"Do you though?" He grinned kissing her cheek bones as she playfully pushed him back from her.

"At ease, Soldier. We've got work to do." Jo grabbed her bag as he groaned, falling back onto the bed. She laughed as he threw his tiny tantrum.

"I hate that you're right."

"Get used to it buttercup." She smirked pulling out a clean outfit. Jo dropped the towel as he let out another groan watching her.

"You're killing me Doll." He said, his eyes roaming her body as she slipped into her underwear and bra before throwing the t-shirt and pants on, she chose for the day. Jo laughed seeing his visible pout as he propped himself up on his elbows, still laying back onto the bed watching her.

She climbed on top of him, her legs on either side of his waist, "Don't start anything you don't want to finish Josephine." He challenged looking up at her. He noticed a smirk tug at the corners of her mouth before it quickly fell as she looked down at him. Bucky searched his eyes for a moment, recognizing her yearning to say what was on her mind, but unable to find the words. "What's on your mind?" He asked, pushing the damp curls behind her ear.

Jo let out a sigh, sitting up slightly as she rubbed her palms over her face. "I'm just nervous about today." She finally admitted after a moment of silence. Jo's hands fell onto his chest as he grabbed them, squeezing them gently. "I know—I know you told me it was going to be fine. But it doesn't get rid of this pit I have in my stomach." Be honest, right? She thought remembering their promise on the plane as his ice blue eyes watched the wheels turn in her mind. Bucky sat up with her still in his lap, letting out a sigh.

Jo narrowed her eyes at him for a moment before climbing off him, taking a step back. "Jo..." He whispered, breaking the silence building between them. "Would you just trust me?"
