Chapter 19

Flashback Abs - Cbn Xmas Special 2014:

Cloud nine. That was what Bamboo was feeling while preparing for the network's christmas special program last year.

He looked at himself in the mirror and he could see a change in his demeanor. He was happy. That's why. He grinned in recollection as he and Sarah went out of his dressing room that afternoon and saw Pancho leaning against the wall. He knew that Sarah was blushing, but he couldn't keep himself from smiling. Nagkatinginan sila ni Pancho. Pancho was equally looking happy for the both of them.

Speaking of Pancho, hindi siya tumitigil na mangulit ng mangulit afterwards on the drive home kay Bamboo, patungkol kay Sarah.

Si Sarah, his Serah. He couldn't fully fathom, but he could sense that she was not as happy as he was, for some reason. Might probably because she still needed to sort things out with Matteo. She looked so vulnerable and forlorn when they parted ways after the last leg of their rehearsal. But Bamboo brushed it aside and convinced himself that she was just nervous, perhaps. What mattered was that she told him she loved him. Him. Bamboo. Not Matteo. No. Definitely not Matteo. Lol

"Basta alam mong mahal kita", Sarah said, before leaving him. "Mahal na mahal."

When he arrived home in his condo, he asked Pancho's help to prepare a surprise for Sarah later after the network's holiday program.

"Ano? Sinagot ka na ba niya? Kayo na?", pangungulit ni Pancho. Pero di naman siya sinasagot ni Bamboo. Naiinip na tuloy siya.

"Anak ng, magsalita ka naman pare! Huy! Anu na score? Should I tell the good news to the rest of the AshBoo kingdom and celebrate with them?", pagpipilit pa ni Pancho.

Tumawa ng malakas si Bamboo.

"Sus! Kahit di ka man magsalita, eh", pagpupush pa ni Pancho, "kitang kita ko naman kayong dalawa kanina. Ako nga eh, di niyo man lang napansin na lumabas sa sobrang busy ninyo sa isa't isa. Sus!"

Lalong tumawa ng malakas si Bamboo.

"Pa - surprise - surprise ka pa dito para sa kaniya ng dinner after the show", onting push pa ni Pancho, "ano? Proposal na ba ito or what? Or plan for seduction muna?"

"Huy! Magtigil ka nga dyan, pare!", biglang sambit ni Bamboo sa kaniya. Ayun, nairaos din ni Pancho. Napush din. Kaya naman pala eh. Hohoho.

"Basta tulungan mo nalang ako dito", Bamboo said."Special to. Bast super special."

When he came to the venue of the program, every artist was dressed to the nines. But his eyes only saught for one particular star.

And there, he saw her. In a blood red evening tube - dress, her soft locks curling around her shoulders, with diamonds in her ears. She looked gorgeous.

His chest pumped up and he took on a stance of a man who could take on anything the world would throw at him. This beautiful, wonderful lady in red loves him. And all that matters in the world failed in significance.

They had a lot of prod numbers together, but with others artists. But it was fine. They still had the chance to be together. And Sarah didn't seemed to be awkward towards him. That made him all the more happier.

As the show came to a close, all of the artists were present on stage with the big bosses of the network.

Bamboo was sitting by the edge of the stage, in front of Sarah. Sarah standing just a few feet away behind him.

He was enjoying himself, glancing every now and then at Sarah and they would share smiles with each other. As if they were the only ones who exists. He was most especially excited for what was to come afterwards.
