Chapter 38

They landed back home on the 7th of April, early in the morning. They were able to at least get some fitful sleep while in the plane, so they felt reenergized and refreshed, somehow.

They drove straight to Bamboo's rest house in Batangas, where the rest of their families were awaiting their arrival.

The rest house itself was huge. It almost looked like a mansion. There was a massive land of atleast 1 hectre, with sprawling gradens, a pond and a forest. One could easily get lost out there. The house exterior was classically built in wood and stone and brick however, the interior was completely the opposite. It boasted a modern architectural design.

Sarah was impressed, alright. She looked at Bamboo with wide eyes and told him that his place was amazing.

"OUR place", Bamboo corrected her. "Yours and mine and God knows how many children we'll have, hahaha", he showed her his dimples. " Welcome to your new home, Mommy Serah", he said sweetly. And Sarah's big eyes became even bigger.

Devine and Delfin were watching them from the window of the impressive family parlor.

"Fin, ang puso ko", Divine turned to her husband, "hindi ko alam kung tatalon ba ito o matutunaw", she had unshed tears in the brim of her eyes.

Delfin smiled tenderly at his wife. "Alam ko yang nararamdaman mo, Vine. Kase yan din ang nararamdaman ko."

"Hindi na siguro ako makahihiling pa ng mas higit para kay Ash", napapikit si Devine at yumakap kay Delfin.

They only have this day to accomplish three sets of important events, before the wedding. First, the prenuptial photo session and video.

Bamboo and Sarah agreed to have it shot within the grounds and inside the rest house with them going through a normal routine of a couple in love.

Gusto nila na magmukhang normal lang yung mga kilos nila, na as if walang kumukuha ng video or litrato. Parehas nila tinanggihan ang idea na magkaroon pa ng theme. Mas gusto nila yung ipapakita kung gaano maging kasweet sila sa isa't isa sa personal na buhay, yung tipong di nakikita ng mga fans nila sa harap ng camera.

And so they dressed casually. Bamboo put on a faded jeans and a worn out white v-neck t-shirt. He was barefoot. His grown locks falling softly on his forehead and he would casually brush it backwards. Sarah thought he never looked sexier.

Sarah herself dressed in almost the same outfit, she had on his white t-shirt that she'd kept, but she wore a pair of jean shorts. She was also barefoot. She let her hair loose. No make up, no accessories.

They didn't posed for the camera. Instead they went on their day not minding as the photo and video crew followed them around.

They cooked breakfast together for their whole family. They also did the dishes after. Then they went out to explore the massive land surrounding the rest house. There was a point where Sarah climbed a mango tree and Bamboo couldn't follow suit. Tawa sila ng tawa. Naghabulan pa sila sa may garden at sa forest. Bamboo also showed Sarah the pond. Then they went inside the rest house and Bamboo took Sarah to his master's bedroom. Ang simpleng kuwentuhan nila doon ay nauwi sa kilitian. Hanggang sa kakalikutan nila ay pareho silang napahulog sa kama. Pero di parin sila tumitigil magharutan. Nagpagulong gulong sila sa kama hanggang sa sahig. They made a mess on the bed and even dragged the blanket and some of the pillows on the floor. Gulo gulo na buhok nila, lalo na si Sarah. Hohoho. Pero enjoy na enjoy nila ang kulitan sa isa't isa. Then they went out to the balcony and gazed at the beautiful view of the surrounding land. Bamboo took his guitar with them and together they sat and sang while Bamboo played the music. After sometime, Bamboo stood behind Sarah, his arms embracing her, pressing her back to his front, tightly. His chin on her right shoulder, their hands interlocked together. Bamboo turned his face and planted a soft kiss on Sarah's right cheek. And that was the last captured moment for their prenup photos and video.
