Bamboo and Sarah waved to the guests as they ran out of the property's gate to the awaiting black bently where a sign of "NAGKATULUYAN" written on a board hung at the back of the car.
People showered them with petals as they went inside the bently. It was to take them to the newly purchased house in Pasig City. Bamboo haven't told Sarah about it. It was his wedding gift to her.
At saka, san nga ba tayo pupunta? Honeymoon na ba agad?"
"Oww! Isa-a lang, please!", natawa si Bamboo. "First off, Panch and I have arranged rented vehicles para sa lahat ng guests papauwi. We have helpers din sa rest house na magaasikaso ng after party left overs. Tapos kung san man tayo pupunta, we're going home, bukas pa ang honeymoon", he paused. "So, ok na ba yun? Or do you wanna go on honeymoon na agad? Awww! Ang sakit nun, ah"
Kinurot nanaman siya sa tagiliran ni Sarah. Hohoho. "Eh ikaw kase, eh! Ang kulit-kulit mo talaga, kahit kelan!"
"Weh, pero love mo naman!", sabay ngiti ni Bamboo, dimples showing.
"Aba! At sino may sabi?", Sarah exclaimed. Nagkunyari siyang umirap-irap.
Natigilan si Bamboo. "Huh? Love moko diba?" He frowned.
"How sure are y.... Aahhyyy!", nagulat si Sarah ng bigla siya hinila ni Bamboo sa bewang.
Their faces were just two inches away. Bamboo's face was serious. He was looking straight into her eyes, he could see his reflection in them.
"Tell me you love me", he commanded quietly.
Sarah's breath got caught up in her throat. She was only teasing him, but somehow, even though Bamboo took it seriously and he was being demanding once again, she couldn't help her heart melt at his expression and words.
"I love you, Daddy Boo", malambing niyang sagot, "Mahal na mahal kita. Ikaw lang ang mahal ko, wala ng iba", and she smiled sweetly to ease his temper.
Bamboo exhaled. His face visibly relaxed. Sarah raised a hand to brush off his hair from his forehead. And then she caressed his cheek.
"To naman, o! Binibiro lang kita", lambing pa niya. "Puwede ba naman yung di kita love?"
Bamboo burried his face into neck, not saying a word. He just embraced her so tight, even if he could hear her going out of breath, he didn't let go. She continued to stroke his hair and his back.
He knew he was being too possessive but he just couldn't help it. When it comes to Sarah, he gets really selfish, and he couldn't feel apologetic for being so. Sarah. She's now his wife. And he wanted it no other way. He wanted to it to stay that way untill death do them part.
The car stopped suddenly. Bamboo lifted his body from Sarah's. He realized he was actually lying on top of her for the whole ride. And she hadn't protested. That made him feel good. He smiled and looked out the window. They were parked in front of their new house. He gave some instructions to his driver and he climbed out of the car. He held the open door for Sarah. "Welcome home, Mommy Serah."
Sarah looked up and down and side by side, as she followed Bamboo into their new house. At the front door, Bamboo stooped to carry her in his arms and proceeded to go inside of the house. "Buti ang gaan mo!", he laughed.
Sarah was speechless as Bamboo settled her down in the middle of the living room.
The house was simple. Yes it was huge, but the style was very minimal, zen type. With modern furnitures and appliances.
Sarah turned around and threw herself at her husband. "Thank you!", she squealed. Bamboo laughed. He's happy when he's making her happy.
It has been almost an hour since Sarah has gone into the bathroom. He checked the clock and waited for her to come out. He was sprawled on a chase lounge in their spacious bedroom, watching something on the tube. He couldn't understand what he was watching, actually. He's very anxious for his wife to come out.
"Mommy Serah!", he called. "ANTAGAL!"
"Oo na!", she replied from inside the bathroom door. "Palabas na!"
In truth, Sarah's nerves were a wreck. Hindi niya malaman bakit ba siya kinakabahan, eh hindi na nila ito first time. Pero meron kase siyang hinanda para sa asawa niya. Yun ang dahilan kung bat siya kinakaban. Lol.
Napilitan na siyang buksan ang banyo. She was wearing a thin, white, silk nightie. Her hair was in a messy bun. No make up.
She slowly walked towards Bamboo. Bamboo turned the television off. Sarah felt awkward. Bamboo thought she looked so sexy. She stopped right in front of him. He was clad in his white wedding pants still, but he had on a white t-shirt now, instead of his dress shirt and matching white suit jacket he was wearing earlier at the wedding. He was barefoot and his belt was undone. His hair was messy. His eyes followed her every movement.
'It's now or never', Sarah thought to herself. And she started to sing softly. Her body moving slowly.
Watching every motion
In my foolish lover's game
On this endless ocean
Finally lovers know no shameSarah climbed on Bamboo's lap, taking his shirt off. She let her hair fall.
Turning and returning
To some secret place inside
Watching in slow motion
As you turn around and sayShe leaned in close and bit his earlobes gently, movong down his jaw to his neck. Her hands were exploring his torso. Bamboo's breath became heavier. She could feel sweat forming on his chest.
Take my breath away
Take my breath awayShe made her way to his shoulders, her arms encirling his neck and her hands going down his spine. He was sweating profusely, now. And it was evident that he was struggling to breathe normally. Bamboo encircled her tiny waist, and he was already kissing her neck.
Watching I keep waiting
Still anticipating love
Never hesitating
To become the fated onesSarah ran her palms down his arms as she clambered down between his legs. And then she raised her head and looked at him straight in the eyes.
Turning and returning
To some secret place to find
Watching in slow motion
As you turn to me and say
My loveTake my breath away
Sarah gripped his pants and slowly took it off. She kissed her way from his calves to the back of his knees, his inner thighs, all the while sliding her white silk nightie off of her shoulders, down her bossom, as she made her way to his belly, his chest and then to his neck. She stopped there, her nightie bucnched around her waist as Bamboo slid it off her hips down to her feet.
She cupped his face tenderly. She continued to sing.
Through the hourglass I saw you
In time you slipped away
When the mirror crashed I called you
And turned to hear you say
If only for today
I am unafraidTake my breath away
Take my breath awayAnd their lips met, their tongues dueled and each of them drank the life from the other.
The moon was the only witness to their union of love. As the stars hid behind the dark sky, and the city sleeps.
