After they teleported back to His base, Xisuma ran off to his bathroom. He removed his helmet off and threw up into the toilet. What was he doing? Beef, one of his closest friends was gone. All of those soldiers. They were dead. It was his fault. He killed them. Tears rolled down his face and he vomited more. He finally stood up and took one shaky breath.
The admin looked into the mirror and lifted up his shirt. As he expected there were about a hundred scars. Small ones. Likely more on his back. He knew this would happen. Every time he let someone die a new scar would appear. The more important the person was to him the bigger and more painful it was. There were many small ones for the soldiers. Then there was one large one over his heart. It was for Beef. It was painful.
He sighed and looked at the two scars on his face. They had been there for so long. His parents. He couldn't save them. Just like everyone else. He cried more.
Meanwhile, Evil and Scar were standing outside the bathroom door.
"Hey, you should go talk to him." Evil suggested. "I would. He's my brother and I love him. But I'm not good at these things. I tend to just make things worse."
"You know what. I think you should give it a shot. It would mean so much to him."
"Are you sure? I'll just end up messing things up and-
"It's fine." Scar interrupted. "I'll be there with you."
Evil Xisuma nodded and opened the door. Xisuma was sitting against the wall, eyes red and staring into space. Evil walked over and sat down next to him. "Hey bro. It's not your fault, you know."
No response.
"You can't help it. We have to stop them. You don't have a choice."
Nothing.
"Come on X. Say something!"
"I killed them." Xisuma said, still staring down.
"No you didn't. What are we supposed to do. Let them destroy and take over the server. We have to fight them."
"I should have been smarter. I'm not even strong enough to bring people back from the dead"
"You don't have to be." Evil put his hand on Xisuma's shoulder. "They just need a leader. No one could have predicted that would have happened."
"I could have."
"Come on. They need a leader. Let's take our server back."
Xisuma nodded. "We don't have a choice."
"That's the spirit. Let's fight for our freedom."
Xisuma walked back out to the group. "Listen everyone. This is your last chance to back out. Pearl can take you on the first boat back."
Pearl nodded. "Anyone who wants to leave, come with me."
No one moves.
"Are you sure about this. I can't promise you'll survive."
A few answers were given in the crowd.
"I'm not backing out now!"
"Let's avenge our fallen comrades!"
"I don't have anywhere to go back to anyway. Let's fight!"
Xisuma felt the hope flow back into his body. He knew it was a bad idea. It would just hurt more later. But he let it happen.
He raised his hand up. "For freedom!"
Everyone else mirrored him. "For freedom!"
