~Normal POV~

Your eyes slowly open and try to register what's happening; a pounding head ache and your body a painful mess.

With your vision coming back, you see that you're in a basement like room. The floor's dirty and blood spots stained on them.

Your hands, feet and torso were wrapped around a chair, your mouth gagged with some sort of cloth, and a collar strapped to your neck.

You try and teleport out but can't, your attempt on freezing time wouldn't even work since your gagged. Panic starts settling in on you. One minute you were enjoying the beats of snap out of it  by arctic monkeys and the next you're in some creepy ass room.

You try and wriggle your way out of the restraints but it wouldn't budge. With you being so focused on getting out you didn't notice someone enter the room.

"Long time no see experiment 712," the all familiar voice said that sent chills down your spine. "It seems that our efforts on you hasn't gone to waste."

He steps closer to you and strokes your cheek softly. You whimper at the contact and move your head as far as it can.

"Look how much you've grown, all ripe and ready for us," he said and requested for someone to enter.

"Yes father?" A familiar voice said from the direction of the door. The man in front of you smirks, looking like he's about to get an early Christmas present.

The scientist gestured for the person to step forward. "You know what, tell your girlfriend to come in too," he said with a disgusting grin.

Your brother was the last person you would have expected to be standing in front of you right now. Perhaps in a much nicer setting you would have rejoiced in the revelation of your only flesh and blood family left and hugged the bastard...but, that's not the case, you're in a filthy basement, bound and gagged in front of him with the only person who truly terrified you.

He squints his eyes at you, looking like he remembers you for a moment but quickly dismisses it. Soon after you hear the door once again open and a pair of heavy boot footsteps echo.

The figure walks up to your brother, wraps one arm around his waist and tiptoes to give him a smooch.

Ew.

But, unfortunately it was Vanessa. Once again, you were appalled at the chances of meeting people you've lost contact with to only face them in this situation. Unlike your brother, Vanessa didn't seem to be in control. Her eyes were shining in that glimmer of recognition and smugness.

She knew what she was doing, that much you dawned on. Maybe in all those sleepovers and movie marathons, she had been reporting back to Hydra the entire time.

You writhed and tried to scream through the gag only for it to be muffled and for saliva to dribble down your chin. You tugged hard at your restraints in frustration with your eyes burning in anger at her betrayal.

She rolls her eyes and leans her head on your brothers shoulder. "Oh stop, don't act like it's such a surprise someone would be a spy in your life."

She eyes you up and down then shivers, "I can't believe I let myself be in the same room with your broken ass. I mean don't get me wrong, the weekends were cute but you being a failed experiment always had me snickering. Don't think we were really 'Bff's' " She air quotes.

She moves away from your brother and nears you slowly until she's right in front of you, your eyes look up with fury while you still try to wriggle out of your bounds. "We were never friends experiment 712, you were tossed and kept an eye on, and I was unfortunately tasked with that retched mission. I loathed every minute of it." She spoke and bent down to whisper in your ear the last part.

She takes a big inhale before exhaling and stands back straight, going back to her original spot. "Welcome home princess, you're finally worth something thanks to the Avengers' help, good job on that by the way." She winks and smirks at you.
