"Who the hell is Y/n?" She asks.

A collective breath has been held; a light breeze passing by and silence coursing the room.

"Jeez lighten up, you all look like someone just died." She joked, skipping to them.

"If all of you would just kindly come with me; surrender willingly, I swear I won't hurt you...that much." She said in a lighthearted way mismatching her words, a grin formed on her lips.

"Come with you?" Cap asked taking a few steps forward.

"Yeah Hydra needs you for whatever dubious plan they have. I don't really wanna question them given that they are a bit dramatic and I do not have a death wish." She shrugged kicking some rubble on the ground. The team snapped out of their dazes and a stern look replaced their horrified ones seconds ago.

"I don't think so princess," just like Cap, Tony advanced in small, careful steps.

She sighs deeply and places her hands on her hips, feigning disappointment. "I tried to ask nicely so don't whine when I break a bone or two." She readied her stance and motioned for someone to start throwing punches, an amusing twinkle in her eyes, a playful grin on her lips.

Loki took note of how her eyes looked quite vain despite the mischievous glint in them, it seemed like light wasn't in them anymore and instead was replaced with complete darkness. It seemed like she turned into a shadow because of what she experienced. A basic coping mechanism one uses when they've went through something that is their source of trauma. Using humor and what-not to cover up whatever bruise and cut they've gotten.

It reminded him of himself...

They all look at each other and slowly ascended to her, battle cries was heard. Before anyone could throw a punch or blast she disappears, like literally gone, poof.

Everyone stopped on their tracks with confusion, shock and panic painted on their faces, looking around frantically until a hard kick to Bucky's leg caught their attention. A loud pained groan came from Bucky's lips as he quickly tried to hit where the source came from, but his attempt only hit empty air.

Tony narrowed his eye in contemplation, "Hey FRIDAY pull up heat scanners." Tony looked around the room and tried to see if his theory was right. Being the genius he is, he's right.

Each one's body heat got detected until one was shown that isn't visible to the human eye. He switches from the scanners to normal POV just to make sure. He smiles and sends a blast to her midsection.

She gets knocked back a few steps and her invisibility trick glitches and falters, revealing her clutching her side and panting, smirking at Stark, "didn't think you'd come to the invisibility conclusion so early playboy." She spoke and once again disappears.

This time the punches and hits gets distributed within each member, first mainly targeting Stark and when she punched his helmet hard enough to the point that the glasses of the eyes got cracked, she moved on to the next, satisfied that he won't be able to use whatever Stark used to identify her all that well, making it glitch.

She felt smug of herself as she took a step back to admire the avengers' panicked faces, huddled in the middle looking from left to right. She was about to take another step to throw another punch to deter their little formation when someone grabbed her roughly from behind, pinning her arms to her lower back and pressing her against a nearby wall.

"Move. I dare you." Loki's voice rung dangerously low in her ear, she tried to tug at her hands but Loki only gripped harder, surely leaving bruises in her wrists.

She panted and let her invisibility go, she moved her head to the side to get a glimpse of the god, she smirked at the situation, "ah, so you're the god the miscreants adopted because daddy from the magical realm wouldn't take you back after your big fuck up. For a supposed god, you're a bit disappointing, would've thought you'll be a bit like muscles over there, guess not."

Loki growled and pulled her off the wall to face the team. She rolled her shoulders and still had a grin on her lips, facing the earth's mightiest heroes. Everyone does not like this new Y/n.

"Well this was fun, but I really have no intention on staying whatever prison you might have for me, so if you don't mind I'd best be going soon since none of you willingly wants to come with me, I'll just come back at a better time, perhaps when you're all asleep." She spoke with a wink and disappeared once again, leaving Loki to clutch on nothing but air.

Loki takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, trying his best to compose himself. The team let out a frustrated groan at having her so close yet so god damn far.

She laughs as she jogs through the streets of New York, a triumphant gleam on her face at escaping the Avengers. She went through alleys and streets just to get back to the getaway car hidden within the forest.

She pulled the handle of the passenger seat and slipped in, "I assume it didn't go as plan?" Your brother asked from the drivers seat.

You had long discovered that the familiar sense you felt when you met him once again was that because he was family, no matter how much wiping Hydra did to both of you, vivid dreams of your childhood always made it to both of you so it was just inevitable before the both of you discovered each other.

Long story short, Hydra just let it be for reasons you don't quite understand given how strict Hydra is, but since both of you proved how loyal and how dedicated you both are to them, they let you have this one thing.

So, months later, both of you ended up bridging a bond again.

"Everything went exactly as planned, I managed to slip the tracker and mic in the star-spangled man's veins when I managed to cut him, and it was a lot easier than I anticipated. Something that baffles me though, is that they seemed like they didn't want to hurt me full force, like they were holding themselves back and instead just wanted to block my attempts...They're weird people." She buckled herself up as she played the previous events in her mind.

Her brother just hummed and started the car, going to the direction of the Hydra facility they're currently staying.
