3 months later...

In the past 3 months, you have gotten better, a miracle really.

You have finally, at some points, catch yourself completely off the topic of Pietro. Grief has been kind to you, for that thankyou universe. Going about your day, even got around to talking to Loki.

Surprisingly, he isn't much of an ass as you thought. Of course he has moments where he redeems himself on being an a-hole.

But, I can't believe I'm saying this, he can be great company.

Stepping out of the bathroom in your towel you jump at Loki seated on your bed.

"What the fuck!" You say out loud.

You know what, I might take back my words.

His eyes automatically travel down your body, water glistening from the skin exposed, water droplets from your hair falling to the floor.

When he caught himself staring, he cleared his throat and straightened his posture, "My apologies, I- I was given a message to give you but...It seems my mind is failing at remembering." He stuttered.

Stuttered? What the-

"Do you at least remember who sent it, or know what it was about?" You shifted your towel.

"It might have been something about powers, which I'm quite shocked you possess such a gift. I sensed the familiar aura, but thought that it might have been someone else." He gave the information he could.

His well collected complexion back.

Speaking of powers, you told the team about a month ago that you indeed have discovered a power of yours. Their reaction was a bit skeptical since they couldn't exactly see for themselves when your powers were applied and used.

But when JAR- Vision, now, showed the clip where everything and everyone else was moving except the both of you, they caved in and eventually believed you.

Tony gave you a brief response of, 'holy shi-'

"It's fine, I'll ask FRIDAY. Thankyou for your services mischief." You grabbed a hold of his arm and pushed him towards the door. A sigh left your lips once he was out.

Making your way to your dresser, you picked out a dark green sweater, black leggings and a pair of comfy socks. Once your clothing was slipped in, you brushed your hair and dried it up with a hairdryer. A cute butterfly clip secured your hair once it was thoroughly dry.

You opened your door and walked over to the kitchen and start scouring the kitchen cupboards, and fridge for ingredients to make making waffles. Placing them all on the kitchen Island, you ask FRIDAY what Tony wanted.

"FRIDAY, what was Stark saying about my powers?" You ask the A.I.

"Miss, he has mentioned that the team is going to help you with your powers tomorrow morning." The AI rung out.

"May I ask what time exactly?" You mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.

"5:30 sharp, Miss." You give a quick thanks and continue on making your batter.

You lean back on the couch with a blanket draped over your crisscrossed legs, hot earl grey tea on the table, a book in hand, and the waffles freshly made. You had left a couple for Loki as well since it's only fitting to return back the gesture of making food and leaving some for the other person too, like he did for you.

The book you had picked out was 'Vices x Virtues'. It was a book that someone gave you that jumped kicked you into discovering that you had an interest for reading.
