"Y/n we're trusting you to stay here while we're on a mission alright?" You nodded nonchalantly, waving a hand to them without lifting your eyes from your book.

"I'll be fine Tony, you guys go and I'll try not to take over the whole world." They snickered and left the room getting on the Quinjet, a quiet sort of hum replaced the air.

Not going to lie though it was...nice. A small refreshed change in the atmosphere. The quiet silence soon became dull, almost hours of reading passed, pages flickered and you soon got bored.

Your mind wanted to explore for a bit while you still had your new found freedom. They said that while Loki's room was being made, you were to go back down to your room (bounded) and wait while it was finishing, Loki staying in your room in the cell for now.

The team said the mission would take a while since Sokovia was hours away, just a few days with breaks included would indicate the estimated time on traveling.

Including the time they have to spend on finding the base, invading said base and the time back to New York. You at least have quite some time before they come back.

A mission on taking over the Hydra base that took Loki's magic stick, the one they lost that they are trying to retrieve from a cold waste land.

You lazily stroll the halls of Avengers Tower, your hand on the wall grazing it lightly. A few floors up and you reached the theatre, why not.

Clicking on a movie, you make a bowl of popcorn paired with soda and started the movie. You don't have any plans on leaving either since you don't have anything to come back to, well except Vanessa but she's all the way back in Germany, and even if you wanted to you couldn't.

Tony probably instructed JARVIS to specifically make you stay. If you thought hard enough about it you would look like a caged animal stuck in a fancy prison.

If you had enough hate for the heroes you would resent and try everything in your power to be free. But you didn't.

"Hey JARVIS what's the time?"

"Six thirty in the evening Miss," the A.I responded.

You nodded, standing up with a stretch. The bowl of the popcorn rinsed and washed and placed on a rack.

"Now what," you asked the silence, the freedom was nice but the lack of company wasn't, you and- never mind.

---

For about the past two days you explored the whole Tower, from every bathroom to every pillow. A couple cool finds, a hidden room in the back of the Library, just a small nook but enough for a bed, along with a few other furniture.

It was dusty but still a pretty neat find.

After your scavenger hunt for cool things, your boredom hit once again. Resulting you in either sleeping, reading, or eating.

Occasionally though, you had to bring Loki his food, the dirty little minx flirting each time you brought it.

"Doesn't it bore you to death with you all alone in this big Tower?" The corners of his mouth quirked.

"It does, but not enough to have sex with you so keep it in your pants." A casual tone made his brow lift.

"I can't persuade you at all?"

"Nope, now eat before I take it back." You walked off the cell before he can say, or protest.

It was getting very boring, the things you wanted to do was done.

Explore the Tower, check.

Watch a movie on the big ass screen, check.

Find cool things, check.

Decorate or at least clean the small room you found, che-.

"You know what, we're cleaning today."

---

You grabbed a broom, a vacuum, a small duster with it's dustpan, and a cleaning attire that includes; gloves, a mask, and an apron.

The cloud of dust entered your lungs immediately making you cough aggressively, once you've composed yourself, you readied and started cleaning the area.

Dusting, sweeping, wiping, all that fun stuff. By the end of the day you managed—somehow someway—to have a medium sized bed pressed on the left side of the wall, a small singular bedside table on the right of it, a lamp on the top of it.

Fresh clean covers, bedding, and pillow cases, new grey crisp curtains on the window beside the desk on the right of the room. The desk only having the minimum of things, a fake small potted plant on the left corner, a pen holder with two pens and a pencil in it on the right.

A black swivel chair placed in the middle front of it, and a wide open space on the desk for any necessary things you need the desk for.

A small cream rug in the middle of the room, and finally a small fake plant on the window sill to finish off the room.

You were covered in sweat and dirt. You scanned around the room to see your hard work. Also questioning yourself why you just spent the whole day cleaning up a room you'll probably never use.

The ring of your phone caught your attention. You slid the device from your back pocket and into your hands, swiped right, answering Tony's call.

His face showed up and compared to yours which was dirty and hair all over the place, his was fairly clean.

"What happened to you?" He asked.

"Just cleaned up a bit."

He scrunched his brows, "where?"

"This small room hidden in the back of the Library."

"Back of the Library..." He thought to himself, thinking where could this be. A few more minutes passed by and he gleamed.

"Oh that's Pepper's old office, usually where she would stay if she didn't have enough time to go back to her apartment or if she needed rest. Can I see what you did?"

You flipped the camera and showed him the room, a small tour per se. "Why all the way at the back?"

"She actually picked that place specifically, said it was a lower chance of getting killed when someone decided to kill me."

"Oh-"

"Yeah can't blame her though, but hey at least she got to be CEO of the most successful tech company in the world for her troubles."

Words couldn't seem to pass your lips, that was an unexpected conversation about an old office. "Anyways, is that all? I need a bath and a good night's sleep."

"Oh yeah, I called because we are about twenty minutes away. Just wanted to check in to see if you trashed the Tower."

You looked at him condescendingly, "I'm not you dumbass."

"Still, can't be too sure." A click was made to end the call. You placed your hands on your hips and let out a sigh, looking around the room before closing the lights, leaving for a nice warm bath.

---

"We're home Princess." Tony's voice interrupted your nice bath, you cracked your eyes open and sighed.

"Can't have a nice fucking bath without an interruption," you muttered to yourself in a low murmur while wrapping a towel around your body.

The door slid open as you stepped out of the bathroom, you clutched tightly to the towel, "Nat! knock will you, I could have been naked in here." She smirked and sat down on your bed.

"Tony wanted to say that we are having a party tonight- and before you can say no, you can't."

Water droplets fell to the ground from your towel, a cold breeze of the room grazing your legs, making you shiver. She looked at the slightly glossy skin and gulped, you smirked at the reaction.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." A satin black silk dress was pulled out from the closet, instead of an early night with pajamas you get a dress and a party.

The hangered dress was placed in front of you, giving her a look if it looked good, she nodded and did not straying away from your body.
