The training with Loki plus the training with Nat went on and on for months, all through out those months you got better at teleporting and your fighting skills could almost beat Nat.

Also in those months there have been new recruits; A kid with spider powers, a guy named 'ant man', and another guy named after a bird.

"That's it my love you're doing great!" Loki praised you on finally being able to teleport from one room to another.

"FUCK YEAH!" you jumped with excitement, high fiving him when you landed close to Loki's side. "Oh my god just teleported! That's so fucking cool!"

Loki smiled and chuckled at your exclaims.

"And that you have dear, now do you want to move on with lesson?" You nodded.

"Damn that was close." Nat said after dodging your punch. Nat inclined her head for you to go again.

Instead of giving her a punch you kicked her over, flipping her down and immediately straddled her hips to lock her down.

Before you can celebrate your victory she used her hip to push you over to the side and pointed a training knife to your chest.

"Oh come on I was so close," you said while she gave you hand to get up.

"You're getting better and better, I'm proud of you." Nat said giving you a proud look and patting you on the back.

"Loki" You whispered to the sleeping god next to you.

"Psst, Loki" You poked at him.

He grumbled in response, "let a god sleep woman."

You rolled your eyes at his comment, "I'm going out for a run okay? I'll be back for breakfast later."

He once again grumbled and rolled on his side, "do you want me to come with you, love?"

Despite his closed eyes, you shook your head no. "No need, just keep sleeping, I'll be back." You kissed him on the lips for a quick peck but that wasn't enough for him so he pulled you back and kissed you properly this time.

He fluttered his eyes for the first time since this morning. He held your face between his hands and kissed your forehead, "be careful okay?"

You nodded, "Sir yes sir." You playfully saluted with a sly tone and gave one last kiss before getting up and putting your air pods in.

You left your room and bobbed your head to the music as you made your way down to the lobby and entrance. The doors slid open for you and you walked out. You breathed in the cold crisp 4 am air and stretched before you took off in a mild jog before it increased to a full on run.

Snap out of it...

You were lip-syncing the song when a dart shot at you at the leg and before you could even move any further, everything went dark.

~Loki's POV~

I yawned as the voice in the wall announced breakfast to be ready. I didn't see Y/n so I assumed maybe she was already in the kitchen. I smirked to myself ready to see my beloved once more.

I got out of the bed with a stretch and pulled a shirt over my naked torso. My legs carried me over to the kitchen and saw everyone chatting and having their breakfast.

"Where's Y/n?" Tony asked and took a sip of orange juice.

My brows scrunched up and properly looked around to see that Y/n Isn't among them.

"I thought she was already here?" I asked, looking intently at Tony.

He shook his head no, "Isn't she supposed to be with you?"

I remained silent as I took in his words. She wasn't here, neither was she in the room.

The room became quiet. Eerily quiet.

My heart started to pick up it's beat and my ears started to ring. "She...She's not here? She hasn't walked in since you all awoke?" My breathing was becoming labored.

"No, where is she brother?" Thor asked in front of me.

"She told me this morning she would just go for a run and would be back for breakfast. I didn't think much of it when she wasn't back in our room thinking that maybe she's already here. Oh Gods, what if she was taken? Norns I should have came with her!" I stood up as a cold panic started to run down my spine.

I ran my hand through my hair in a frenzy.

"Calm brother, maybe she's on her way right now. What time did she leave?"

"Around 4 in the morning."

"That was 4 hours ago." Tony looked at his phone to see the time, 8:16 am.

"She's usually back after an hour or two from her runs, why isn't she back yet?" Natasha chimed in.

"Bruce, Lab. Now." The two scientists scurry to the lab to trace where she was or had been.

"FRIDAY, pull up Y/n's latest location." A chime was made and a map of the central park from here floated. A red streak was looped around where she ran until it stopped around a secluded area.

Tony pointed to the last location and patted Bruce on the back, "There! Come on." He grabbed his jacket and hurried over to his set of car keys. Me and Steve were trailing behind the two when Tony put a hand up to my chest, stopping me from entering the vehicle.

"You stay here horns." I gave an expression of offense.

"No way in hel I'm not, if you won't let me come with you then I'll find a damn way by myself." I walked out of his way.

"Tony come on, he's affected with this as we are." Tony sighed and shouted for me to stop sulking and get in the damn car.

I teleported in the passenger seat and commanded Tony to start driving. He scoffed and started the car. The vehicle took off and we were on our way.

The car stopped at a slow halt and we got out if it. We examined the area and found not-

"Here." Steve shouted.

Never mind.

Steve was at a grass patch and held a small glass arrow with a bit of a dark liquid in it. "I bet your asses this is Hydra." He whispered darkly.

My eyes glowed dangerously green along with my hands and a mist of it flowed from me. "Woah okay calm down there." Tony said when he noticed my state.

I flicked my eyes to him, "calm down? Calm down?! My beloved has been kidnapped by the same assholes that traumatized her from when she was a child, and you expect me to calm down?!"

"Okay okay I get it, she's important to us too remember?"

"What? As an experiment? To use her for your own gain because of her powers?"

"No, is that how low you think of us?"

I shrugged, "all you mortals are the same, striving to be different—to create something different because your lives are meaningless without the power that excites your very being. You don't care how you get it, who you hurt, what deals you have to make, you just care about the strength you'll gain from it." My voice dripped with venom with every word. I had enough and teleported back to the compound.

I slammed my door shut and things breaking, my shouts and curses could be heard from outside.
