Two weeks later...

You we're physically feeling better from your hit back in Germany, only small marks and bruises here and there. Nothing too serious and too concerning.

The team decided that you were capable enough once your wounds started to heal. And so they discharged you from the medical wing and gave you your own quarters. There was a catch though. There always is, right?

You could stay in a room in the meantime, just like the others, but you had an upcoming test that could change your fate about how you were suppose to stay in the Tower.

The team mentioned that the test you had to take once you were better was about whether or not you had powers and could communicate to Loki, unbelievable right?

Yes they provided a room for you to stay in, but it sounded sort of like a cell. They persisted on keeping you in a watched room if things weren't normal as you have stated numerous times.

Talk about lack of privacy.

You were annoyed by this. They promised to not make you as a prisoner, yet opted for a cell instead of a normal room if they find something they don't like. They're insane. You almost chose the small white room of the medical wing instead of this ridiculous command.

But, as much as you hated this, you had no choice. You could escape(it was an enticing idea), but that would make you a fugitive despite your lack of a criminal record. You just hoped that this would go really quickly so you could go back to your life.

They also told you that if you did have powers, the room you would to stay in was in a different floor, away from the others, a singular room in the whole level. No neighbors, no electrical room, no random closet with cleaning supplies. Nothing, just a lonely room in the new floor.

This room was made specifically for someone that had a great deal of power that needed to be blocked. That made your heart jump with unease, it would probably be filled with cameras and mics. But you also reminded yourself that you had nothing to worry about. You were a normal human being, living your life as best as you could. No laws broken. No crimes committed. You payed your taxes and bills on time. Decent job, nothing to worry about...right?

But that wasn't even the worse news you've heard in the two weeks you've stayed here. After all this time they haven't heard zilch about Loki. Not even just a single hair on his pretty little head. Nothing. He escaped when he was about to be chained up, his magic was supposed to be blocked so he wouldn't use them.

Too little too late I guess.

Instead of thinking about him too much, you focused on the test, you kind of have a thing about needles, something about trauma.

A week goes by...

A few more steps and you reach the lab. It wasn't too far away from your room.

*knock knock*

"Hey Bruce. I'm here for the test." You spoke with a small friendly smile on your lips.

He turned on his heels and pushed his glasses further up on his nose with a finger as he calmly greeted you. "Oh yeah, hey Y/n. Can you lay down here? I'll just do a quick scan." He said and you did what he asked. Your back pressed itself down on the table and Bruce started scanning you.

After a few minutes, the scan was done and was processing. Honestly you thought that there would be more to do, but you guessed you just had to wait on the results. The computer screen in front of you showed the percentage of it's progress on getting those results.
