It was a cold and dreary midnight, Tony and Bruce sat around trying to think of every possible way to find you.
"What if we build a time machine?" Banner suggested.
"I thought about that before too but with our limited supplies and resources of our generation, it could literally take years before we could finish it, and besides, there's no guarantee of full succession, we could—let's say only be gone for a minute in the present but be stuck in the future or past for years."
"Oof."
"Yeah." Tony tutted.
"What if..." Bruce told blindly, not knowing where his words would fully go.
"What if we go back to her last location again? A last round up you know, double checking."
Tony sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose with a quick shut of his eyes, "we've been over there for about 10 times already so I think calling it as double checking seems a bit redundant don't you think?" Bruce just puts his hands up in a surrender, a soft 'okay' falling from his lips.
"Okay, okay...What if we just scan for all the Hydra bases though." Bruce suggested.
Tony just froze and remained silent, he looked at Bruce a bit dumbfounded then spoke, "you're right, holy shit you're right, how the fuck have we not thought about that before?" Tony stood up from his chair and bolted to the floating screens, smacking Bruce on the chest on the way. "You're a genius Banner.
He rubbed the area where he was smacked and lightly chuckled, "thanks...ow."

~4 hours later~
4 hours later and the sun sat prettily on the sky. Around 8, Steve walked in with a cup of coffee and when he found out what the two were up and was told they were making progress, the others got suited up and waited patiently for results.
"Tony" Bruce nudged Tony to looking to his screen. "Here it's been used yesterday," he said pointing to a nearby base.
Cap leaned in to see the screen, "Alright team let's go" he said, everyone nodded.
Everyone gathered up in the living room.
"Loki you're not coming." Tony said while putting a hand on his chest when he got in the entered room.
"I am coming." Loki said pushing away Tony's hand.
"You might try and escape so no." Tony spoke once more trying to make the god stay again.
"Listen here metal man I am going whether you like it or not, you weren't able to stop me before and you won't now. So I will come along even with the small possibility of my beloved being in that retched base. If you won't allow me, trust, I will be finding a damn way." Loki spoke lowly, advancing small steps towards Tony, his eyes sharp and stern.
"Tony let him come, he's a good advantage" Cap said to stop the bickering of the two.
Tony just scowled in response.
Once everyone was gathered they all went to the helipad immediately to get to the base.
Everyone practically ran to the Quinjet, Loki teleporting in. Once everyone was comfortably seated, they all nodded to Cap to start flying the jet.
He nodded back, "Alright team operation save Y/n is a go" he said lastly before lifting up the jet.

The Quinjet landed around a secluded area. Once it was safe, everyone stepped out with caution and high alert.
"Tony how's it looking?" Cap asked, he looked over to Tony when there was no response.
"Tony?" He asked, Tony's brows knit in confusion under his helmet.
"There isn't anyone there," he said, lowering his helmet. They all turn to him with puzzled looks.
"What do you mean no one's there" Nat asked with an underlying tone of frustration.
"I mean there is literally no one there, no life forms, nothing, zero, zip nada." Tony said with clear annoyance and anger in his voice.
Cap let out a tired sigh, "Fine then let's just go in there to check if they left anything to lead where they could be right now." He said and the team nodded.
They busted through the door and checked every room in the facility. One last room, in was a dingy and dirty looking basement. Cold and dark, no light source at all.
"Hey guys I think I found something!" Clint shouted, all of them snapped their head towards him and quickly gathered around him.
"Look, I think it's her water bottle" Clint said handing it Tony, he unscrewed the cap to reveal a bit of water still in it with condensation at the sides indicating it hasn't been open in a while.
Although evidence was found, it doesn't lead them to any new clues.
"This is pointless!" Tony huffed with the lack of information and just dropped back the flask. When everyone turned away from it, Loki flicked his wrist and teleported the it back to their room.

~Y/n's POV~
"Sir there have been people detected in the old base." A Hydra agent said entering the room.
The Scientist turned his head towards the agent and smirked. Shooing him away.
"I guess your little friends are looking for you" he said and pierced a needle in you. You hissed at the contact of the needle. "Unfortunately for them, you're not there are you?" He laughed, taking off his gloves.
"You're done for today, tests start tomorrow," he said, gesturing for a guard to take you back to your cell.
