"So then I found Clint in-" Nat stops her story and realizes you really weren't focused and had your mind elsewhere.
"Earth to Y/n." Nat waved a hand in front you.
"Yeah?" You said absent mindedly.
"What's got your mind pre-occupied?"
You brushed her off, saying it was nothing and told her to continue what she was telling.
"Yeah, you're not really a good liar. Tell me or do I have to force it out of you?" She adjusted herself on the couch.
"It's just this pulled muscle, I can't focus well when it throbs and just randomly aches." You reasoned to avert her attention with a shallow answer.
"Right. And this has nothing to do with horns?" She asks, expecting for you to deny as you would.
"Of course, why would you think that? We're just good pals you know, just good friends that are stuck in this room everyday, forced to talk to each other to preserve sanity even though I do from time to time see something that is a feast for the eyes, but still, we're just friends. So no why would you say that?" You rambled on in a very rushed manner.
"Great job for that very convincing rant." She laughs but it soon dies down when Loki started to come out of his room.
She stands up and dusts off her clothes. "Well this was a lovely chat, but I have to go to leave both of you alone. Ciao!" She leaves the room just as Loki closes his door.
---
"I'm about to start watching a show, do you care to join me?" You heard on the other side of the door after a knock. You think about it for a second before agreeing and freshening up.
Taking one last glance at yourself, you make your way out of your room and see the living room a complete comfortable haven.
The couch had scattered blankets and several pillows neatly placed on them, several snacks like chocolate, cookies, brownies, chips, along with a wide array of beverages like soda, milk, water, juice and all sorts of other treats, all placed on a table that's moved to the side to make space in front of the couch.
The soft rug that was placed in the middle of the room had even more blankets and pillows, almost enough to make into a fort.
The tv was lit up as movies, tv shows, and series' flashed through the screen, showing off recent new films.
You stare in awe at everything, "I was not expecting this." You smile up at him, to see him only wearing a shirt and pajama bottoms. "What would've you done if I said no to joining you?"
"Well, it would've been quite lonely, although having all these snacks isn't all bad." He gives a charming smile and ushers you to sit.
You take his offer and sit in front of the couch, your back leaning comfortably on it as you reach for a bowl of popcorn and start munching on the salty and buttery snack.
Loki joins you shortly, also sitting down while his legs were crossed. You grab a blanket and drape it over you and Loki's legs. Grabbing two pillows and setting both of them behind your backs.
Flicking through the movies, you decide on doing a series instead. Your attention gets caught when 'the hollow crown' flashed through, seeming to notice that they recently just started the show. You press play on the first episode and let your body relax.
---
After the whole episode and a half of the Shakespearean show, you notice Loki yawn and instead of asking him if he wants to call it a day, you carefully grab a pillow and smack it on his face.
