You were back in New York, the cradle in the possession of the two scientists.

"Anything on Nat?"

"Haven't heard, but she's alive, or Ultron would be rubbing our faces in it." Tony answered Bruce as he entered the lab.

"This is sealed tight, we're gonna need to the program, break it down from within."

Tony looked at Bruce, then to the cradle, and made a quick turn to Clint, "any chance Natasha might leave you a message outside the internet? Old-school spy stuff?" He said in an almost planned-out-in-his head kind of question.

Bruce swiped a screen to start the process of getting this robot nutshell cracked.

"There are some nets I can cast." Clint said. "Yeah, I'll find her." He started heading downstairs when you spoke.

"Clint, can I come? I don't know jack shit about all that spy stuff but I just need something to let me know that she's at least out there?" Worry and stress evident on your features and tone.

"She is, like I said Ultron would ru-" Tony started but Clint interrupted.

"Yeah of course Y/n, come on." He said before giving Tony a glare and an incline of his head for you to follow him.

To your surprise you didn't bother to think about Tony's comments much like you would any other day; Nat is just completely in your head, any other thoughts are subsided.

"I can work on tissue degeneration..." Their voices slowly being hushed the closer you got to your destined room.

Once you and Clint were sat, he started to work on getting everything prepared for his so called 'old-school spy stuff'

Clint sees how fidgety you are, "hey are you sure you don't want to take a breather for a sec? Getting that thing pried open, plus possibly a message from her might take a while." He offered, you shook your head no.

"No, I'm fine. The only thing that's going to make me feel at least somewhat of a relief from all of this madness is her. Here. Safe." You said not once looking back up at  him, but at the floor with your hands intertwined where you head rests.

"It's Nat, I'm pretty sure they would have to do a lot more before getting to her. She's tuff, if you haven't noticed." He joked, getting a sad chuckle out of you.

The next few 30 minutes or possibly hour, you weren't quite sure with the scenarios keeping your mind occupied; that you hadn't had the time to check the time nor was the idea of it presenting itself.

You watched Clint stir away from the monitor and look at the receding needle on the radio communicator, he put up one of the muffs of the headset against his ear, then a small smile of relief drew on his face; seemingly happy with the results.

He listened intently then got on the monitor, searching up the location.

"So?" He looked behind him and gave a grin.

"We got her?"

"We got her."

Before you can jump up with joy, yelling and ruckus was heard upstairs.

Both of you shot up and made it up there, Pietro was standing directly above the glass floor. Everything happened so fast within the next 20 seconds. From Clint shooting a bullet through causing Pietro to fall, Stark and Banner trying to get the cradle back up and uploading.

Cap throwing his shield at the very expensive equipment that almost made you wince with the thought that you know they could cost you your life just by their prices.
