Chapter 33

"Those blue serum can cause a bad reaction to anyone isn't human. It's some type of Magic."

"But Milo, I don't detect any Dark Magic in these things." Kari said.

Everyone was gathered again in the large sitting room at HQ. Kari and the other's have been having more success in rescuing the wrongly prosecuted NH's. They had just saved a whole family from a shit load of Hunters and ended up taking their weapons. The blue serum was incorporated into every single one of them.

"It's normal Magic. But it's mixed with some other substance... A mineral, according to my research. Ironically, it can negate Magic." Milo inspected the weapons.

"Xerinstone. That's a mineral that can negate Magic. It can be found here on Earth, but it's rare." Roger said.

"That must be it." Milo said. "The Magic is a curse, I think. It has the power to paralyze you."

"So, they use the Magic to paralyze you and they make sure you can't use Magic on top of that. How the hell are we going to counter that?" Deandra asked.

"Easy. You don't get hit." Alphonse said.

"Easier said than done." Freddy said giggling.

"Well-" Shela started but she stopped when she looked at Billy. He was sitting on the couch next to her with his head slumped down. "Oi, Billy! Wake up. We are discussing something important!" Shela moved him and narrowed her eyes. "Hey, what does it mean if his eyes are glowing?"

Roger jumped to Billy's side. Billy's eyes were glowing orange and he was starting to mutter something. "He's having a vision!"

"What?" Sam went to his brother. He was going to touch Billy, but Roger stopped him.

"No you mustn't touch him! He has to wake up on his own." Sam nodded looking worriedly at his brother.

After several tense minutes Billy jolted awake.

"Where-?" He stopped himself and looked around frantically.

"Yo, Billz. Don't worry man, you're safe." Dre said trying to calm Billy.

"No, no, no, no, no...." He kept looking around the room.

"Billy, what are you looking for?" Sam asked.

Billy violently grabbed Sam. "You have to help him!! You promised!!"

Roger motioned for Freddy to go to Billy.

Freddy was an Empath, a common power among Elves. She had the power to influence the emotions of others. Since Billy was unstable, Freddy decided that she would help keep him calm until they figured out how to help him better.

"Billy, who does Sam have to help?" Freddy said standing close.

Billy let go of his brother and pushed him away. He took a few deep breaths before proceeding. "Leon."

Sam bit his lip to stop himself from talking. Kari remembered that Milo had talked to Leon and had gotten all the data that Cam had downloaded, but she didn't know Sam was there. And she certainly didn't know that Sam had promised something to Leon.

"What did you see?" Freddy asked.

"I saw... I saw Leon with someone. His name is Fernando Alacràn... Fernando looked terrified and Leon... He was on the phone... They're both in danger! He'll call." Billy looked at the desk Milo was by. "He'll contact you the same like he did before!"

"The tablet! When will he call?" Milo asked.

"Give the tablet to Sam." Milo did Billy told.

"When will he call?" Sam asked.
