Lyle read the letter as he wore a frown.

Dear Thellia,

         I am looking forward to the date we settled on the upcoming Lilith Festival. I am very glad to be able to spend time with you and Rosette again, after a long while. I will be staying here in the mean time, and we will meet until then. I am thrilled that our little family would be reunited again!

'Your dear?' Thought Lyle, deepening his frown.

'Family?'

Lyle felt lost.

'Is she already married?' He thought anxiously.

"No..!" He shook his head.

'Why should I care? She's just another woman...' He thought to himself, trying to shake of the heavy feeling that was weighing on him.

But he couldn't help but wonder.

'Is Rosette the name of her daughter?' Lyle bit his lower lips, somehow feeling angry.

'If she already has a child... then that man...'

Lyle felt a sting, as the wave of betrayal hit him.

Lyle glanced behind his back, his eyes gazing upon Thellia's sleeping figure. He didn't want to believe that she was married. So Lyle held on to his belief that he was just misunderstanding the situation.

'But even if she is married...'

'Why should I care?'

As the thought of Thellia happily smiling at the man from yesterday resurfaced, Lyle's face fell, anxiously biting his lower lip.

'Is that why she could just casually smile and laugh with that man?' He thought bitterly.

'Then what about when she's with me?'

'Why doesn't she smile and laugh like that when she's with me...'

Lyle couldn't help but laugh bitterly at his jealousy.

He thought it was unfair.

The jealousy he was feeling began to worsen as the thought of Thellia, already having a child with another man flooded his mind.

'Why...'

'Why am I feeling like this!'

Lyle frustratedly ran his hand through his hair as he looked at Thellia.

With only a few inches apart, Lyle inched closer to her and stared at her sleeping face. The feeling of betrayal he felt still lingered.

Lyle watched her sleep so peacefully. He reached his hand to her face and gently brushed the hair away.

'But if you were really married, why did you take care of me in the first place?' He thought, wearing a terrible expression.
