Thellia tied the ribbon of her dress, tucking it neatly as she stood infront of the mirror. Slowly glancing at her hair, Thellia heaved a sigh.
She reached her hand to the table and grabbed a ribbon. Thellia tied her hair neatly before looking down at the pocket watch.
'I still have time.' Thought Thellia.
Amidst getting ready for her date with Lyle, Thellia was rushing in hurry. She was already getting used to her surroundings, as Thellia was able to rest at night for the forst time, without worries.
Tugging on the hem of her skirt, Thellia slowly bent down to pick up her shoes. She gently sat on the bed, raising her feet to fit the shoes. Thellia stood up and walked back to the mirror.
'I think I've done well.'
'This is enough.' She thought to herself, starring at her reflection. Thellia wore a simple yet lovely dress that had subtle ruffles on its hem. The dress was long, stopping above her ankles.
'It doesn't look eye catching, does it?' She thought, as she really wanted to blend in without standing out.
"I think it looks a bit... extravagant?" Heaving a sigh, Thellia went to her opened window, glancing down the people who walked the street.
'The dress design is trendy these days, so it's definitely common among ladies...'
'But still, I can't help but feel nervous.'
Thellia walked back to the mirror. She turned to her side as she looked at her reflection. The light fawn dress was perfectly complimenting Thellia's eyes and hair . The color of the dress was well matched with the tie on Thellia's hair, along with her dark brown shoes.
"..." She stared longer.
"Alright." She mumbled, gently tugging on her sleeves.
Thellia began to walk towards the door, ready to leave. Upon exiting the room, a cheerful voice greeted her.
"Good morning, my lady! You look very beautiful today." Lyle greeted with a smile.
For a decent time that had passed, Lyle had long been waiting for Thellia infront of her door. Lyle was leaning on the wall, holding three tulips on his hand.
Thellia, who had just got out, was startled. She had almost flinched in surprise, not expecting Lyle to be waiting for her. Grasping the situation.
Thellia looked at Lyle. Noticing he was dressed in neat clothing, Thellia found it pleasing to look at.
"...Your hair looks nice." Thellia commented as she looked at Lyle, who's upper half of hair was tied in a bun.
"Really?" His face lits up.
"I wanted to impress you today, I'm glad it worked." He gave a sheepish grin.
"You look very stunning as well, my lady."
"Why do you call me that?" Asked Thellia, walking towards Lyle.
"What? My lady?" He smiled, taking her hand up to his lips.
'He's quite...."
She frowned, Thellia began to gently withdraw her hand from Lyle's hold, trying not to seem rude. "You can just call me by my name."
"A beautiful lady like you deserves to be called as such. But if that is what you prefer, then I shall do as you say." Lyle grins as he handed Thellia the flowers.
"You've really came prepared." Her brows rose. "Thank you." She held the pink tulips.
Lyle smiled charmingly and asked. "Shall we go?"
