" Baby, I'm home!" Katsuki called from the door as he slipped his shoes off. He'd just finished up a late shift at work and was quite exhausted. But regardless, he was very excited to see his little one.

That's odd, usually, he's running up to me by now.

The blonde thought. Typically, if Katsuki has to work late or doesn't get home by a certain time, Izuku is already bounding towards the door when he gets home. So... where was he?

...

*TW STARTS HERE*

Izuku's stomach dropped when he heard the call of his partner. He knew he shouldn't have done it but he had to. He couldn't stop himself. He needed it.

Frantically, he threw the blade in the trash can and stood from his place on the floor. Standing, especially as fast as he did, was not a good idea. He was already dizzy from the blood loss so the rapid movement caused his vision to go black and his body go limp.

Just before he blacked out, he heard the knock on the door. " Zuku, you in there?" Was the last thing he heard before his body collapsed against the cold tiles.

...

"... Izuku, wake up!" Katsuki said, trying desperately to clean up the blood and put pressure on the wounds. He'd already called Aizawa for help. The former teacher was very good with that sort of thing. Back in school, anytime Izuku would have a relapse, Aizawa was always the one to help him feel better afterward.

Izuku cracked an eye open, just barely registering the face of his lover and the shattered doorframe behind him.

What happened? He thought, blinking away his fatigue. He was tired. Why was he so tired?

" Hey hey, there you are, sweet boy. Look at me, look in my eyes, baby." Izuku did what he was told, noticing how damp the blonde's eyes were.

Why was Katsuki crying? Why was he on the floor?

Izuku had so many questions. It wasn't until he felt the grounding hand on his face that he'd actually realized where he was. But more importantly, why he was there.

" Suki?" Katsuki's eyes widened, feeling somewhat relieved at the fact that Izuku remembered him. It wouldn't be the first time if he hadn't but regardless, it was a scary thought.

Katsuki sniffled and rubbed a gentle thumb across Izuku's cheekbone. " I'm right here, baby boy. Not going anywhere. Can you tell me what happened, hm?" He asked, doing his best to keep the younger conscious and responsive. He hadn't lost enough blood to be fatal but he definitely did some damage.

Izuku had to think for a moment before he truly remembered. But when he did, he decided he didn't want to remember. So all he said in response was, " Jus sad, dada." Katsuki nodded in understanding, realizing that he didn't want to talk. He knew he was regressed so he chose not to push. But he would have to talk to big Izuku later.

Just as Katsuki was going to respond, Aizawa gently knocked on the shattered doorway. " Hi there, sugar." He said, walking over and sitting on the floor across from Katsuki. The man started to thread his hands through Izuku's curly hair, a tactic that he and Katsuki used often. It almost always did the trick when trying to calm the boy down.
