𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆

origin - created by y/n,, l/n,, : this breathing style consists poison in some forms, each form can be used differently and be remade if needed, to suit the swordsman. mainly comes from water and fire breathing,, y/n's water forms are faster, and her fire forms are stronger

extra - there are only 2 demon slayers currently using this breathing style. : hashira y/n,, l/n : aoi kanzaki. there are currently no demon slayers that have formed a new breathing style that branches off of midnight breathing.

1st form - floating moon - branches off of water ; it seems the user if floating in the sky as they fall down slicing vertically. The user slowly falls in a flowing motion, like water.

2nd form - exploding sun - comes from fire breathing ; third form. ,, user swings their blade in any direction but down using barely any strength to deceive the opponent into thinking the users attacks are weak after a couple of attacks, the user swipes down with their sword using a fair amount of strength

3rd form - saturn's ring - based off water breathing ; first form. ,, the user collects enough momentum to create a powerful circular spinning slash. best used when closer to your opponent.

4th form - hidden night shadows - hides your presence completely, sharpens your senses, makes you quicker (often combined with other forms) * since y/n combines this form with others so much I most likely won't add it onto added forms *

5th form - orbiting dark - used up close only : user uses all their speed and 'teleports' behind the opponent. user then slices off opponent's head.

6th form - dark owl - used for far away attacks only. user will slice at such a fast pace in the air that the opponent will see a owl. as you are slicing your blade will deflect poison in the air that your opponent will inhale, instantly killing them. best used when no one is around. if someone is around, the attack is more difficult to use.

7th form - midnight's monsters - used for y/ns sadistic side. she attempted to hide this form but was found using it before she was known as the midnight pillar. : you shove the blade in your opponents forehead or abdomen and slice down. very simple. y/n used this in chapter 003

8th form - red moon - y/n has never planned on using this form, but was made for emergencies. Only people that know how to use it are y/n and shinobu, but neither have mastered it. shinobu refers to it as 'suicide' and scolds y/n if she thinks about using it in battle. purely completely based on fire, making it stronger. (If water was mixed in, it would make it faster but not as strong) slowest form but strongest in midnight breathing
