"Niall." I said as I sat , moving my legs to and fro on the swing. "Yeah?" he answered , looking up from his roughly scribbled song lyrics on his notepad. "Do you remember when we were kids?" I smiled. "You mean when we tried getting drunk together and ended up in someone else's house who turned out to be in another city?" he grinned. "Not what I had in mind." I laughed.
"Ohhh so when we had sleepovers , atleast we pretended to. I told my mom I was at your place and you told me mom you were at mine and we went to this party. And got caught because I was drunk and called my mom to tell her not to tell my mom that I was partying with you?" he chuckled. I places my hand on my forehead, shaking my head. "What crap have we done in life!" I laughed.
"Well the best time was when you got stuck ...on top of a tree." he laughed. "You dared me to get the cat!" I exclaimed. "Yeah and you didn't." he smiled. "Because it jumped down." I said, sticking my younger out at him. "Yeah so you could have jumped down!" he smirked. "I was scared of heights." I pouted. "Shouldnt you have thought of that before you climbed the tree? He smirked , raising his eyebrows. "I never backed down from a dare I wouldn't start then." I said stubbornly. "We had to call the fire engine...because you were terrified of coming down the ladder I put up for you." said Niall. "It was a bunch of boxes stacked together!" I exclaimed. "Steady cardboard boxes!" he argued. "they were not steady! I said , throwing a small pebble at him which he dodged. "Okay scaredy cat." he laughed
He made me taste life to its fullest. He drove me insane , and then dipped me in sorrow and washed it away with laughter. I don't know why but ever since Niall came into my life it was better, more interesting. We were friends, didn't intend to be more than that. I'd console him through his breakups and class issues and everything and he'd do the same for me basically. We were not always together like conventional friends , and this wasn't because we were ashamed of our friendship, it's just that we went to different universities and had different lives.
I think i may have posted this but oh well...
