You haven’t told Niall yet, but today you were getting your braces off. You were excited and nervous as you lay in the chair, feeling it getting tilt backwards. “Hello (Y/N),” your orthodontist said as she entered the room. “Today you’re getting your braces off! Nice huh? We’re also going to mold your teeth for your retainer. But more info about that later,” she said after she and her assistant started working with getting your teeth done. The minutes ticked and after an hour and a half you were now rinsing your mouth water to remove left over from the mold. You don’t know what was worst; when they were grinding off the glue from your teeth or when you were molding your teeth and had to do your best to relax so you wouldn’t gag during the molding. “So I need you to come back in two hours to get your retainer. It’s going to be plastic so no one will see if you have them on or not, so no need to worry,” your ortho said and winked at you and smiled.
Three hours later you hopped of the bus and walked towards Niall’s apartment. You pressed the code before walking up the stairs and ran the bell on his door. “It’s open!” You heard him shout, since he knew it was you, and you walked in his apartment. It oozed bacon through his apartment, so you understood he was in the kitchen. After taking your jacket and shoes off you walked in his kitchen, finding him setting the table. “Hi princess!” He said and walked towards you and pulled you in a hug. He reached down and kissed your lips and slid his tongue in your mouth. But he quickly pulled away with a confused smile. He parted your lips with his fingers, making you open your mouth and you showed him your new smile. He looked chocked at you. “YOU GOT YOUR BRACES OF TODAY?!” He said, half shouting and you nod and smiled, showing your teeth. “You’ve always had a beautiful smile, but I like this smile more. Look how straight your teeth are! And they are so white!” He said, and you only giggled at your goofy boyfriend.
