Request for Sophie

"Wow it's so beautiful!" You exclaimed as you stared outside the window of your car. Niall had been wanting you to visit his hometown of Mullingar for ages, and now that you were both finally free, he had jumped at the opportunity to take you.

"I loved it here." He said with a smile, as he pulled up in front of his old house, then ran around to open your car door for you. His parents were on holiday, so you two would have the house to yourself for a few days while you were here. You had been to his house before, to meet his parents, but you hadn't gotten to spend any time actually in town or enjoying the new scenery.

"So what do you want to do today?" You asked, walking inside the house with your suitcase, with Niall following right after you.

"Why don't we go into town and eat, then go shopping a bit?" He asked, and you quickly agreed.

"Sounds fun! I love food and shopping so it should be fun." You said with a wink, causing you and Niall both to laugh. You two quickly put away your stuff then went into town, walking instead of driving the car, since you weren't too far away.

"So, where do you want to eat?" Niall asked, grabbing your hand and intertwining his fingers with yours, swinging your hands back and forth as you walked.

"Niall, this is my first time really in Mullingar, you really think I know what restaurants are here?" you asked with a laugh.

"Nandos it is!" He cheered, making you laugh. After a short walk, you were down town and were headed towards the Nandos. After a quick lunch and a few fans recognizing you two, you were ready to shop.

"So, what kind of stores are there here?" you asked, smiling up at him.

"Well, I want to go to this hat store down the street... New snapbacks, ya know?" He asked with a smile, pointing to the snap back he was wearing.

"Well, I want to go girly shopping.. clothes and stuff?" you asked, raising your eyebrows at him.

"Well, there's some smaller boutiques and such that way.." He said, pointing down the street to the left.

"Okay, well can we go there next?" You asked, as you neared the hat store.

"You can go by yourself, and I'll meet you over there in a few minutes. Plus we're less likely to be mobbed by fans if we separate." Niall said.

"Good point, I'll see you in a few minutes!" You said, getting on your tip toes to give him a quick kiss on the cheek before heading to the stores. You went down the street and to the left, only to be greeted with a huge street filled with about 20 girly stores. You finally decided on one went inside, searching the store forever before you realized you hadn't heard from Niall or seen him at all.

You walked out of the store and down the street, heading for the hat store you had last seen Niall at. You walked forever, only to realize you had gone the wrong way and were now lost, still having no clue where Niall was. You decided your only option was to ask for directions, and you quickly spotted to girls, a few years younger than you, waiting out on the street.

"Hello? Excuse me, but could you explain to me where main street is? Downtown? I got a little lost..." You said with a laugh, as the girls slowly looked at you, realizing who you were.

"You're Niall Horan's girlfriend! Sophie! Oh my gosh, does that mean Niall is here?" One of the girls looked around, expecting to see Niall somewhere close by.

"No, Niall's not here..." You lied, and the girls obviously knew it.

"Okay, he's here, but I don't know where he is.. We got separated, and I have no clue where to go now. Last time I saw him, he was looking for snap backs." You said, and the girls just stared at you, not knowing what to say.

"Well, main street is that way, to the right, and then you go to the left." One of the girls finally said, but you could barely understand her through her think Irish accent.

"Thanks so much!" You said, as you walked passed them and started walking. You got all the way to the main street, and could see the hat shop in the distance, when you were suddenly surrounded by a ton of fans, cheering and yelling things about Niall and other unrecognizable things.

You tried to remain calm, but you were very claustrophobic, and you were starting to freak out a little bit. You reached into your pocket for your phone, trying to call Niall as the mob started to grow.

"Hello?" You heard his voice, barely audible over the loud fans.

"Niall! I'm down the-" but before you could finish, the phone was knocked out of your hands and smashed by all of the fans jumping and running around. You took a deep breath and tried to explain to them that you didn't know where Niall was, but you were overwhelmed with all of it. As you finally broke down and started to feel like you were going to cry, you felt a pair of strong hands around your waist, pulling you out of the mob.

"Sophie!" You heard the familiar voice say, as Niall carried you quickly away from the group, down the street, and ducked inside a restaurant, yelling and begging for the owner to lock the door before the fans got in. The confused owner agreed, locking the door as Niall sat you down on a chair and the rest of the costumers inside stared, confused.

"Niall Horan!" One voice finally spoke up, recognizing him. Everyone in store started to chatter, all recognizing Niall as an old neighborhood friend or someone they had always seen on tv.

"Hi, sorry but she got mobbed by fans..." He explained to everyone as he stared at you intently, wiping a tear from your eye.

"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner.. If I had known this would happen I would've never left..." Niall said, staring deep into your eyes.

"It's fine Niall..." You said, hugging him tightly and giving him a quick kiss on the lips. The restaurant finally returned to normal, everyone going back to enjoying their food as Niall sat down across from you at the table.

"Well... I got you something!" Niall said excitedly, reaching into the bag that you suddenly realized he was carrying. He slowly pulled out two identical green snapbacks, except for on the back, one said "Niall's girl" and the other said "Sophie's guy." You smiled and excitedly grabbed yours, putting it on and striking a pose, causing Niall to laugh.

"It looks perfect." He said, giving you a quick kiss as he grabbed his matching snapback, quickly putting it on before taking your hand and looking around the street for any fans.

"Are you ready?" He said, looking down at you. You pulled the bill of your snapback down onto your nose, covering up most of your face as you nodded nervously. He slowly opened the door to the restaurant and headed quickly down the sidewalk, taking the back way to his house.
