episode 10

We were searching for a magic pillow that can manipulate the sand around it and obviously its gonna be in a desert so Steven is crawling on the ground asking for water and when we questioned it he said it was in the movies.

But we saw the sand abomination and jumped over.

All we needed to do was get a hold of a pillow and it was easier said than done when sand is fighting back.

We four took a different side and my side was more walls and spikes so I would quickly climb over them and jump over the spikes.

Eventually I got to the pillow and picked it up making the sand return to normal and the other Gems were close to getting it before me.

"Seems I win this one." I say.

"I almost had it!" Amythast says.

"I can't believe you two are competing over a mission."

"It was easy Pearl, plus it adds to the fun and fun is what makes life easy." I say.

We walk back to Steven but stop and see a huge pink lion with Steven!

"Steven!" Pearl says. "What is that?" We all summon our weapons.

"Uh stop it's ok!" He says. "Look! He's totally tame."

"That's impossible." Pearl says.

"No it isn't! I taught him to sat I love you." Steven then puppet acts the lion saying he loves us.

"That's so sweet. I-I love you too." Amythast says.

'Oohh that was so cute to hear Amythast say that.' I think.

By this time we all un-summon are weapons and Pearl says.

"Ugh get your hands out of that things mouth. We have to get the dessert glass out of the desert!" She says refering to me when I may or may not have given it to Amythast and she wants to keep it un-bubbled.

"I got it." Amythast says.

"Let's go Steven." Garnet says and I follow Amythast.

We make it back to the house and I have tons of sand in my hair so I take what humans call a shower.

After my shower my hair is no longer my usual style, now it's a long wavy style with water all in it.

I spot Amythast laying by herself in a kingdom of pillows.

I walk up the stairs and kneel down to her.

"Heyyy Amythast."

"What do you want!" She sounds annoyed, probably because she wants to sleep.

"Mind if I sleep with you?"

"Uh sure just don't take up all the space."

"Thank you."

I crawl into the cave and I have to curl up against amythast to somewhat fit. And I sling my arm over her making me feel the heat resonate between us.

I feel her scoot closer and I hugged tighter. Soon my vision got drowsy and my head light and finally sleep takes over my lovely situation.

I open my eyes and see a fractured sky with a watery grave purging me and my senses. I flow to my stomach and look down to the abyss that stares back.

"Ah!" I shoot up and look around fast while breathing heavy.

"What! what what." I look down and I see Amythast, her hair everywhere, and my arms pinning her down beside her head.

"Uh. Nothing. Important." Wiping a unwanted tear about to fall.

"Topaz. You rarely cry and I hate to see you worried." She holds my cheek. "Please. Tell me?" I blush.

"Uh. Just a weird dream that really freaked me out. No need to worry." I smile and she smiles too.

"Now let's go back to bed. I miss your warmth." She says.

"Haha ok I'll be big spoon." And that I do allowing sleep to take over once more.

I awake from a sudden push and see a pink lion.

"Keep it down Steven." Amythast says still asleep.

"Uh Steven when did that get here."

"He's my friend! And a few minutes ago."

"Sweet." I say

I watch as Steven gets dramatic with the lion and runs to the deck just to throw the magic pillow we worked hard to defeat. It's rebuilding again.

The rumbling summoned Garnet and Pearl, we run outside.

"Steven! The desert glass!" Pearl says. "It's rebuilding it's castle. Why didn't you bubble it earlier?"

"Welcome to trud city P." Amythast says.

"Don't move, We're coming!" Pearl yells to Steven.

"Ok!" He then disappeared into the sand storm.

"We gotta go!" I yell.

We four jump down and instantly a sand wall stops us.

"Heeeyaah!" Garnet punches the wall a few times.

"This wall's not moving!" She says.

Pearl starts to say something but it cut off as a piller shoots Amythast into the air and is flying around uncontrollably.

We stop as we hear multiple sound attacks and suddenly tons of sand falls on us but we dig out the surface and see Steven with the pillow and the pink lion near him.

"We should of done this in the first place." Pearl says.

"In my defense I forgot." Amythast says.

Steven then proceeds to have a really touching moment with the lion and pretty much asking us if we can keep him.

"Are we really going to let him keep that?" Pearl asks.

"We kept Amythast." Garnet says.

"Oh oh haha! Kept! Amythast. Oh Garnet that's priceless!" Peark cracks up more than I've seen in a while and it makes me smile at the joke aswell.

Steven celebrates too as making the lion wink.
