Pearl folds her arms.

"Yes, you're grounded!"

"You disobeyed an order." Garnet adds.

Then Amythast threatened to bury him alive.

"Aah! That's not how grounding works!" He says.

I wasn't participating in this punishment as I'm the chill mom but let's hope I never actually have to reprimand Steven.

The door of the house suddenly opens. We all turn to look and see Greg standing at the doorway, breathing heavily.

"Dad?"

"Uh, you guys better come check this out."

We exit the beach house and see the problem... the sea is gone.

The people of Beach City are rallied behind the Mayor awing and worrying since the ocean is one of the main reason tourists come here.

The mayor talk loudly through a megaphone but Garnet smacks it away.

"It was Lapis Lazuli." Garnet says.

"Lapis Lazuli?" Stevb replies.

Pearl also replies.

"She's the Gem you released from the mirror." She then projects a hologram of Lapis with her gem.

The humans audibly aw at it.

'How long have we lived here? How do they still not understand us?'

"But she's a Gem, just like us."

'Oh Steven.'

"There's a lot you don't know about Gems, Steven..."

Back in the house Pearl continues.

"How could I have known the Gem contained in that mirror would be so powerful?"

Steven was packing things in his burger bag then the trio of Connie, Greg, and Lion all state that their joining him on his adventure.

Pearlclears her throat.

"Clearly, we're coming too."

"you're un-grounded, by the way."

Amethystjumps on the kitchen counter*

"WHOO-HOO!! Road trip!"

We head off into the deserted ocean, with us Gems riding in Greg's Van, and Steven and Connie riding on Lion's back, while an unshaven and distressed Mayor Dewey cries and sprays water on the sand with a hose.

'That's just sad.'

"How about some tunes? This was one of Rose's favorites."

Greg inserts a CD into the music player and loud rock music begins to play. Amethyst chuckles while Pearl chuckles uncomfortably.

Garnet kicks the door open and rolls out.

It was night time and me and Garnet were riding on top of the van since she didn't wanna hear that music and I was too big to stay relaxed in there.

I layed down complete with one leg pulled up and Garnet did the same but she was just sitting.

Our legs stayed touching and I guess this was our version of hand holding for the moment.

I hear Pearl and Amythast explaining that all the monsters we fought were corrupted Gems and just to make Steven feel better I chimed in saying.

"It's like we're letting them sleep after a long and hard workout."

I take joy in thinking he appreciated that reference.

We now arrive at surprisingly beautiful pillers of water that are teaming with earth's marine life.

Connie says it's just like an aquarium.

"You shouldn't be here!" A head of water takes shape of Lapis Lazulis head and face.

"She sensed us." Garnet says.

"LAPIS LAZULI! IT'S ME, STEVEN!!"

"Go away! Before I make you."

"But we're beach-summer-fun buddies!"

'That's cute.'

Lapisforms Steven's face from the water and screams in Steven's voice.

"NOOOOO!!!"

She forms her own head again and says.

"You're one of them. One of the Crystal Gems."

"Uh rude." I say.

Amethyst and Pearl growl angrily then Garnet puts a hand on Amethyst and Pearl's shoulders.

"Easy."

"What do you mean? We're all Gems, right? Just let us help you."

"You don't understand. Just leave me alone..."

Her face disappears into the water tower.

"We're not leaving, Lapis. Not until you give us back our ocean! -- Aah!"

A water arm grabs Steven by the shirt.

"I SAID... LEAVE ME ALONE!"

A Water Clone of Steven then emerges from the water tower and knocks him away with a water-arm attack.

"Ah!"

Garnet catches Steven as he is flung towards her. Water clones of us then emerge from the water tower too.

"Greg, kids, you stay behind us. We'll handle this."

"Sounds good to me!"

Greg hides behind a rock, and Steven, Connie and Lion retreat behind us Gems. The water clones proceed to summon their weapons and prepare for battle.

"Ruh-oh."

"Stand together. Don't let them separate us." Garnet then gets punched by Water Garnet.

I turn to my clone and rush her. We clash axes but I push her away from the water tower.

I keep running in and attacking but if fighting myself wasn't already hard enough this water clone can't be poofed or injured. She can though modify her body better than Amythast and either dodge my slices or create unusual attacks.

After a good battle a massive sound wave, resulting in all the water clones to dispel in the reverberation.

"What the?"

I look at the puddle but soon walk back to my group.

"Where's Steven?" I ask.

"Up there." Amythast says.

"Oh. I guess all we can do is wait."

And that's what we do...

Suddenly the water tower starts to crumble and collapse.

"The whole tower's coming down!" Garnet states.

"Really!?" I say

Greg with his broken leg says.

"what about Steven?!"

That's when Connie and Lion teleport away but come back with Steven. Steven then bubbles all of us and the van.

The bubble holds as the ocean pushes us back home.

Steven then dispels it once they reach dry land.

"And that's how you do it!"

The group begins laughing in rejoice, when Greg's van falls apart even more. Pearl looks at a distressed Greg and chuckles.

"Well, what's that thing you always say about the pork chops and the hot dogs?"

"Look!"

The populous of Beach City run to us cheering and hugging Steven.

I look up at the sky and think.

'I think this'll be a problem.'
