I walk in with the last load of our suitcases and release a huge sigh. So here I am, in my long lost father's house, to perform some non- existent ritual which quite frankly I don't believe in. He led us into this breathtaking room and told us to get comfortable. We kept our bags there as we will be here for a week max which I was against but it is what it is. The field is very large and contains variety of ground.  I've never seen a place for which nature had done more or where natural beauty had been so little counteracted by an akward taste and they sure do have plenty of livestock. Maybe coming wasn't such a bad idea after all. There is a river nearby which gives me a sense of serenity. Ever felt like breathing in all the oxygen? My mom's current situation. It's a thing for her to take deep breaths a lot. This pregnancy is to my mom's favor bathong. She looks even more glamorous, with her glowing skin.

Zanele gives me the creeps as she keeps glancing towards our direction and I still can't believe they are sisters. I questioned my mom about their beef and realised it was a very stupid question to ask. I just want to get this ritual over and done with.  Uncle T settles on sleeping in a B&B nearby because he said and I quote, "Ain't no way in hell, that I'm sleeping in your babydaddy's house." I overheard their conversation outside and I've never cracked so hard. Atleast he is understanding about the situation. Although he left Don and Sabelo to guard us. They will be sleeping in their cars and I pitty their poor backs.

Currently I'm sitting beside my mother, just admiring the interior design of this house. For a house that is situated in a village, it is very captivating and homely. He did well for himself I must say. And his car? A beast I tell you. I constantly accompany my mom to the restroom every 15 minutes because she doesn't trust anyone with me. A full grown adult. Very funny. A woman that I assume is in her late 50's makes her way into the lounge. She's dressed simple but classy. She's rocking a summer, offwhite waist holding dress with bling sparkled flops that matches  her Gucci handbag. Thatha gogo! So she makes her way in with no form of greetings exchanged she settles on the sofa opposite us. My mom rolls her eyes skyrocketing them all the way back. Okay...seems like they know each other judging from the shade they keeping throwing at each other.

I know my mom is hungry but she is afraid they'll poison her and kill her baby. I would be afraid too, it's not a good idea to go around pregnant with negative energies around you. I excuse myself and call uncle T asking him to order her some Chinese because that has been her favorite since this pregnancy started. I walk towards the living room and find my mom making herself comfortable, stretching her legs onto the table and she's conversing with Chris. Where did that old lady go? They keep laughing at I dont know what.

"And remember Simamkele, the one I kept complaining to you about?" He says.

"Yeah I remember him. Gore you would always be in a foul mood because of that man." She responds.

"Well now he is working for me in my taxi rank." He says leaning on the sofa.

"Are you for real?" She says in shock. And they burst into laughter.

I take a seat pretending to be busy on my phone and they immediately go silent.

"I'll go get some warm water for your feet." He says getting up.

"Thank you." She responds with the widest smile ever. Hehake! What's this all about now. If uncle T was here, angifuni nokungasho.

"Uncle T said your order is on the way." I say with my focus on the phone.
