Hey guys :) This is the "Deleted Scenes". Stuff that was supposed to happen until I changed my mind and yeah... So a '---' means cutting to a different scene. They are in order of what I wanted to happen but they are not back to back, as in, there would've been a lot of chaps in between these scenes (make sense?) So read, don't read... Just know that this doesn't actually happen at all but would've if I had more patience and will to write it in the direction I first planned... Enjoy!

Tears brimmed her eyes, which just about broke my heart. What was happening?

“How could you?” she asked, her voice barely a whisper. But I heard her. It was heartbreaking just to stand there.

“I’m sorry,” was all I could offer.

She shook her head. “Where’s my best friend?” she demanded. “I want her back!”

“I’m right here, Adds,” I said.

Tears rolled down her face. In the years I’ve known her, I’ve never really seen her cry before. And to know I’m the reason for it was hard to believe.

“Where’s the shy girl who blushed all the time?” she asked.

“She changed a bit, but I swear, she’s here,” I said.

“No, she’s gone. She died!” she yelled. She was sobbing now.

I realized I had started crying too.

“He loved you,” she whispered at last.

“I-“

“He loved you, Ever!” she yelled.

“I know,” I choked out.

“No, you don’t,” she said, venom dripping from her mouth.

“I-“

“Save it!” she screamed. “Do you know how much you hurt him?”

I stayed quiet.

“How much it crushed him to see you making out with Luke? His best friend, nonetheless,” she said. She shook her head, wiping away her tears. “He pretended not to see it because he was so in love with you to admit you never moved on.”

“I’m sorry,” I said, sobbing as well.

“No you’re not,” she said. “But you will be once you finally realize you lost your best friend and the best thing that ever happened to your life.”

With that, she turned on her heel and walked away, leaving me behind.

“Evan?” I whispered, my voice hoarse.

He shook his head. “You’re not the same girl anymore, Ever,” he said, and then followed behind Addie. He left me. She left me. Everyone left me.

“Guess it’s you and me now,” Luke said, wrapping his arms around my waist. He spun me around and wiped away my tears.

“Pretty girl,” he said, kissing my tears that were rolling down.

I sobbed harder and he hugged me tightly to him.

“All will be fine,” he said. I didn’t believe him. He pulled back and kissed me softly on my lips.

I kept telling myself this was what I wanted.

---

“Do you love me, Ever?” Luke asked.

“I-“

Before I could answer, he stopped me by putting his finger over my mouth.

“Because I need to know, Ever,” he said. “I need to know if you love me, and if you do, show me.”
