Heres the next part, which is included in the 4 pgs part since I only made 3 pgs... But here it is, as promised :) thanks for all the votes and commenting! Anyways, I actually had an idea for this one part near the end, and it was kinda heartbreaking to write.. don't know if i'll use it yet since im not anywhere near that. Enjoy!

“Choose me!”

“No, you loved me first Ever!”

“I’m the new guy you know you have feelings for.”

“Choose me!”

*

“Ahhh!”

I shot up from my bed, suddenly distraught from my dream. Or nightmare.

In it were Declan, Luke, and even Evan. They were all trying to get me to choose them and I didn’t know whom to pick. Slowly, they were all fading in my dream as if I didn’t choose soon, I would have none of them.

But I didn’t see what my problem was. I wanted Luke. I always wanted him. Right?

I mean, I’ve never seen Declan like that. And Evan is the new guy. I’m not attracted to him. Am I?

I groaned in frustration. What did this stupid dream mean? And why can’t life be easier? Boys are just a source of trouble for me. I don’t get how my mom, grandma, or other women in my family found that they needed them. Maybe I’m just becoming like Addie.

I sighed and pushed the blanket off myself and got into the shower. I quickly showered and then changed into comfortable sweats. It was Saturday, no worries what so ever of school.

I went downstairs and saw my mom at the stove, stirring something. My dad was at the table stuffing a bagel down his throat.

“Slow down!” my mom chastised. My dad had a sheepish grin on his face as he quickly swallowed the food and then pecked her on the lips.

“Bye,” he said. He saw me and ruffled my hair. “Bye Ever.”

I smiled as a response and took my seat across from Elliot.

“Where’s Alice?” I asked.

“Getting ready,” Elliot said.

“For what?”

“For hanging out with friends,” Alice answered. She was dressed in a mini skirt and a pink camisole with a gray cardigan over it.

“Young lady,” my mom said warningly.

“Mom, it’s not that short,” she protested. She hugged my mom and pecked her on the cheek before she ran out of the house. She shook her head.

“I don’t know where she gets it from,” she said.

“I’m here!”

Suddenly, my grandma Samantha appeared. She looked exactly like the typical grandma in her nice purple sweater with a cat on it. It was a joke. Elliot and Alice got it for her for Christmas.

“Ah, there’s my 2 grand children,” she said. I smiled.

“You love me more,” I said.

“Nah, she loves me more,” Elliot said.

“I love you both equally,” she said. “Even Alice, if she were here.”

“Mom, something to drink?” my mom asked. She shook her head.

“No thanks, just here to visit,” she said, sighing.

It’s been almost a year since my grandpa Jace died. He died of a heart attack. It was pretty devastating to say the least. Grandma Samantha took it the hardest, of course.

“Mom, there’s an open room at our house if you need it,” my mom offered. Granny shook her head.

“I’m fine,” she said. “You all have a life and it’s none of my business to intrude.”

“The offer stands open,” my mom said, turning off the stove.

Granny nodded.

“So you guys have anywhere to be?” she asked.

“I’m going over to Addie’s later,” I said.

“Ah, you still friends with that girl?” she asked. I nodded.

“I should get ready,” I said. She nodded and started talking to Elliot about college.

I went upstairs and changed into jeans and a Tshirt. I texted Addie and told her I was coming and I’d be there soon.

Elliot drove me over and dropped my off. I rang the doorbell and Addie answered the door. I ignored the feeling of disappointment that it was her and not Declan.

“Come on,” she said. We went up to her room and started to talk about random stuff.

“So I have something to say,” she said. I raised an eyebrow. She looked pretty serious.

“What is it?” I asked.

“I like someone,” she said, biting her bottom lip. I squealed.

“You do?” I asked. She nodded. “Oh gosh, who?”

“Evan,” she said. For some reason, that made me stop jumping. What’s wrong with me? I should be happy for her.

“Really?” I asked.

“Yeah,” she said. “What’s wrong?”

“Oh, it’s just that he said he had his eyes on someone already,” I said. I don’t even know why it mattered.

“Oh, it’s probably me,” Addie said, grinning. I nodded.

Doubt it.

“Yeah, totally. I mean, he’s been really nice and talks to me like any person,” she said. “Almost like it doesn’t matter I’m a girl.”

“And that’s a good thing?” I asked.

“Yeah, for now. But when I become his girlfriend, that’ll change,” she said, smiling.

“Whoa, sudden change,” I said.

“I think Evan is the one I’ve been looking for,” she said.

“Just like Luke?” I asked.

She shook her head. “Nothing like Luke. Luke Langston is not for you, Ever. Trust me,” she said.

“Then who is?” I asked.

“There’s someone,” she said. “I promise.”

I couldn’t help the feeling that maybe she was hiding something from me. But why would she?

I ignored it and listened to her talk about how sweet Evan is and that she’s so glad he came along, and how he was going to be her one exception.

*Aw, remember Jace? Yeah, he died :(

Aren't you happy for Addie?

Didn't want her to be lonely!

What is she hiding?

Who will Ever choose?

Declan? Luke? Evan?
