So hey :) anyways sorry, it's reallyyy short (isn't it always?) but i need to leave soon and i wanted to get something out cuz i won't be able to tomorrow since its new year- happy early new years btw- and i can't sunday cuz i need to get ready for school :( but i hope you enjoy!

“Ever! School!” my mom called. I sighed and tried to forced myself to get up.

I got changed into a comfy pair of jeans and a Tshirt. I was not up for looking good today. I couldn’t be bother with that.

Suddenly, a car honked outside and I knew my ride was here. I quickly shoved a bagel down my throat and then ran out the door with my bag trailing along on the ground. I slid into the car and smiled at Addie.

“Hergh Addie,” I said through a mouthful of food. I looked at Declan, who looked amused. “Declan.” I blushed slightly and looked away from his gaze.

We arrived at school and Addie and I quickly got out.

“I’m so tired,” I yawned, walking over to my locker.

“Yeah, you look like shit,” Addie said, looking at me distastefully.

I frowned. “You’re not making me feel better,” I said.

Addie laughed and dragged me along. I sleepily closed my eyes and followed her.

“What’s wrong with you?”

My eyes instantly snapped open.

“Luke?” I asked. He stared at me, smirking. I blushed instantly.

“You sleepy?” he asked.

“None of your business,” Addie said.

“Just asking,” Luke said, smiling.

“Why do you care?” As the words left my mouth, I surprised myself at being so bold.

Luke and Addie looked surprised by my outburst.

“Uh, just asking,” Luke said. He ran his fingers through his hair and walked away. As he got out of ear shot, Addie turned to me, looking extremely proud.

“Where did that come from?” she asked. I shrugged, and walked to my next class. That felt great!

*So, she's taking baby steps to her change :)

I want it to subtly happen, not like a SMACK in the face
