Hey people of the universe. Long time no see :) Hey I uploaded before the month passed by, right? So be happy! Sad new is, I'm ending this story shorter than I anticipated. But no worries, right? A few more chappies to go, please don't cry, you're making me cry... haha :) Enjoy!
“No way Jose!” I said, shaking my head.
“It sounds like fun!” Luke said, smiling.
“I said no!” I said.
“That doesn’t sound too bad,” Declan said.
“See? I come up with pretty good ideas,” Addie said proudly.
“Hello?” I said, waving my hands around. “I don’t want to!”
“When should we go?” Luke asked?
“Now?” Addie suggested.
I groaned and crossed my arms across my chest. Suddenly, I felt lips on my neck. I blushed and turned around. Declan smiled at me.
“Something wrong?” he asked. I rolled my eyes and turned away from him.
“You guys have fun, I’ll be at my house,” I said standing up.
“Ever!” Declan called.
“Hey, let’s just go,” Luke said.
“Ever!” I heard Declan call again.
Ok, so maybe I was overreacting a bit.
“Ever, what’s up?”
Declan grabbed hold of my arm and pulled me back. I pouted when he spun me around.
“Nothing,” I said. “Have fun.”
“Oh, come on Ever,” he said. “I know you didn’t want to go.”
“Well, it seemed like you thought it was a good idea,” I said.
“You know I’d never go anywhere if you didn’t want to,” he said, smiling. I cracked. I smiled back at him.
“Seriously, go have fun,” I said. “I don’t want to be holding you back.”
He frowned. “You’re not holding me back, Ever. I want to spend time with you,” he said, taking hold of my face. His planted a firm kiss on my lips before pulling, making me blush.
“Well, you should seriously go,” I said.
“Not without you,” he said.
“But I don’t want to go bungee jumping. The idea freaks me out,” I whined. He grinned.
“Your macho boyfriend will protect you,” he said, puffing out his chest.
“Very funny,” I said, playfully slapping his arm. He feigned hurt.
“Oh, come on,” he said. “We can just spend time together at home if you want.”
Tempting.
I sighed.
“No, we can go bungee jumping,” I said. He smiled.
I kissed him hard and pulled back, smiling.
“What was that for?” he asked. For once, he was the one blushing.
“My goodbye,” I said.
He laughed.
*
“Just do it!” Luke coaxed.
“I can’t!” I screamed back!
“Of course you can,” Addie assured me.
I was hooked up and everything, but I couldn’t seem to do it. I couldn’t jump.
Even before jumping, I could picture my life flashing before my eyes.
“Ever.”
I turned around and saw Declan. I smiled.
“I’m scared,” I whispered.
“You don’t have to be,” he said.
“But I am,” I said.
He sighed. “You don’t have to do this,” he said. “I’ll unhook you.”
I smiled. “Thanks,” I said.
“Look!” Declan yelled, pointing behind me. I look behind me and then was suddenly pushed.
“AHHHHHH!!!!” I screamed.
I’ll kill you Declan!
*Haha, cute?
