Hermes view:
One week later there was still no new Trace of her, everyone was worried, even Hera became paler day by day. We had searched everything for her, we knew she wasn't dead and we wouldn't stop looking, because everyone loved her. And the ones, woh didn't love her, respected her enough to see, that she deserves some peace. She was more or less the child of all of us, at least that is what it felt like, I mean I've known that little Seaweedbrain for approximately 10 years. The most special thing about her was, that she provoced change in all of us. We gods do not tend to evolve, but due to her critic, doubts grew within us.
Just to give some examples, Demeter wasn't as persistant over a vegan lifestyle anymore, since she recogniced, that that could easily damage the human body. Furthermore, Ares refused to go to anymore bodybuilding casts. You can not imagine our surprise as he saaid, that he did not care what other people think about his body. Aphrodite nearly killed him, due to her excitement, that he finally realiced that. But I guess Apollo changed the most. It's hard to put it in words, but he seemed more interested. Interested in his children's life (He would go to Camp Half Blood at least once a week), interested other people's emotions...I truely enjoyed, seeing his arrogance vanishing more and more with each passing day.
We missed her.
Clint's view:
Today was the day, today Nat and I would leave to destroy the hydral base. It was just the two of us, since everyone else was busy. Thor was on Asgard, he said there was an emergency and he had to look for someone. Good old captain was on a mission, and Bruce wasn't in the shape to come with us right now, something about an inner crisis. And Tony, well Tony was god knows where. Honestly I think that the task at hand was not exciting enough for him, so he decided to simply not show up.I put on my clothes, put in my guns into the gun holsters, tied my quiver on my back and took my bow in my hand. On my way to the living room I met Natasha, wearing her full combat gear and looked ready.
"Well, aren't you looking excited?" I asked and threw my bow from one hand to the other.
"It's a mission Clint, we could die. . . You should take this a little more seriously. " She looked at me seriously, typical Nat. Always had to be the fun brake, but she was right. Thereore I made a serious face, straightened my back and saluted "Yes ma'am, at your service ma'am."
"We should go, the helicarrier is already waiting for us."
Time leap
"There's a hatch, that must be the entrance."
We ran towards the hatch and I opened it. You could see stairs leading down into the darkness. I climbed it down without making a sound from me and waited for Natasha, who arrived a short time later. We pulled out our guns.
All right, she took her gun and I took my bow and we sneaked down the hallway. You could hardly see your hand in front of your eyes and yet we were both able to walk down the hallway (you know, Master Spies and everything...). Everything went fine until we heard voices for a moment. I turned towards them and tried to understand something."We should visit the prisoner again, it is time to hear her chirping again. "
I could see before my eyes how a malicious grin adorned his face. I turned to Natasha, prisoners were not planned. The steps disappeared and I gave Natasha a sign to follow me. We ran after them and bumped into a door.
"And, have you missed us already?!" Asked the man from before.
"Unfortunately, I have to say that I would prefer other company to both of you. I like people who walk around a little more neat, seriously, you've been wearing that top for a week now. You reek man, take a shower, that would be a true blessing for humanity."
I heard a female voice say that I would have laughed at her humor if she hadn't sounded so exhausted and tired.
"You might think you'd be in a position to be cheeky, but you'll never get out of here, so think carefully about how to talk to us if you want to have a reasonably comfortable stay."
"You know, bro. SHe isn't wrong. YOu could really need a shower." A second voice interfered.
"Are you kidding me? You need to be supportive! What is our prisoner going to think of us, when she sees that we are not a real team?!"
"Oh, don't worry, I think veeery highly of both of you." Her voice was dripping with sarcasm.
I heard a slap, echoing from the walls and was about to open the door when I heard the girl answer.
"You know, I won't stay here for much longer, s at least you could treat me a bit nicer. WHen they ccome to save me you should pay a little more respect. I can handle not being respected, but my family wel.. They are a bit more sensitive and have killed other people for less. But honestly, I don't think that paying resppect and sucking up to them, could safe. They're going to kill you for what you did to me, you don't have to wait long, they're already looking for me. You messed with the wrong guys, when you captured me and you're going to suffer for it. Even in death you won't finde peace. You will pay for it, trust me. " She replied in a cold voice.
A shudder ran down my back.
Who was that woman and more important, who was her family?
