Chapter 16

Percy:

This night I had a dream. I saw a beautiful woman standing in front of me. "Aphrodite", I said with relatively little enthusiasm in my voice, I liked her, yes, we had even become friends when I was on Mount Olympus recovering from the war. She smiled at me, "Persephone, good to see you. " I rolled my eyes "How many times have I told you to call me Percy? Why did you come?" "Have you seen that new make up edition? My my, the concealer is amazing. Nearly as good s my own. You should really try it to get rid of those nasty eyershadows. I think they are  on sale in." She took her Phone, pressing a few buttons, before snapping, vanishing it into thin air. "It's on sale in New York at 3 pm, Washington at 3.12 am and Miami around 12pm, you shoud really think about buying some. Furthermore, I can really suggest you to buy-" I interrupted her, before she would be too much in her flow. "As much as I appreciate your help, did you just come to advice me about beauty products?"  "AAh, there was someting else. What was it?" She narrowed her eyes. "Ah, I remember.I'm here to give you a present. I see how much you suffer from the consequences of the war and I want to give you hope.

Hope and love, I once told you that you're going to have an exciting love life, but that wasn't just about David, no, you're going to meet someone. You're going to learn to love him over time, the gods and I are going to help you, we're going to support you in whatever you do, because you belong to us, you belong to the family. " I looked amazed at Aphrodite, I never expected the gods to care so much about me. So about my friends Apollo, Hermes, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hestia, Hades and my dad I was not surprised, with all the others I was very surprised. I smiled at her, "It's nice to hear that, it's nice not to be alone. I don't know if I want to fall in love again, I don't know if I can replace David that fast. " "Oh, sweetheart, you don't have to replace him, furthermore David doesn't mind, Hades has already asked him, he wants you to be happy and fortunately love is part of it", she said in a soft voice. "Thank you Aphrodite", I smiled at her with all my heart, it was nice to hear that. "We will stay in touch, my dear", said Aphrodite and vanished.

Once again the bell I already knew played. I opened my eyes and rolled myself out of bed. After a shower, I put on a Camp Half Blood T-shirt, along with black pants. When I got out of the bathroom, Colman was standing in front of me. "Come with me", he said unkindly, pulling me with him. However, instead of going to take our daily breakfast, we went to the interrogation room. There I had to sit back and wait. I focused on the water in the air and could sense eight people behind the mirror. I saw a glass of water standing in front of me and drank from it, instantly my thirst was stopped. Too late I realized that the water tasted strange, they had poisoned me, my eyes widened and I spat the water out of my mouth, what was in it? Panicked, I expected tiredness or pain, but none of them came. Instead, Fury came back into the room. At his side came Natasha. I smiled at her friendly, but she only reacted with a skeptical look. "What did you put in the water for me?" I asked as soon as they were seated. Fury just grinned, which made me feel pretty bad. "This is truth serum, invented by our best scientists. We have a few questions for you and want you to answer us. " I looked at him displeased. "All right, let's get started. "
"Who are you?"
"Not Miss Harper. " When I said that, he frowned.
"Who are you then?" Natasha asked this time.
"It's none of your business. "
"Are you a threat?"
"It depends on how you define a threat and also for whom, for an ant, I'm probably very threatening. " I laughed quietly.
"How old are they?"
"23"
"Do they have any family?"
"Isn't it actually illegal for you to ask me all this? Can't I just say I'm waiting for a lawyer?" I raised one eyebrows and looked at them waiting.
"No, you can't. We have the right to treat everyone like this if we think they're a threat. We're above the law. "
Natasha replied as if fired from a gun.
"If they don't speak today, we'll wait until you do, even torture the answers out of you in case of an emergency. " It probably should  have intimidated me, but I only snorted disdainfully.
"So you have family. "
"Yes"
"What are your parents' names?"
"Mom and Dad. " I said and grinned.
"Do they have any siblings?"
"Yes, but only half-siblings. "
"Cousins?"
"Yes"
"Have there been many deaths in your family?"
My eyes darkened noticeably. What prompted Fury and Natasha to share a look.
"Why would you ask that?"

"Have their been many deaths in your familly?" Fury repeated his question.

"Too many. "
"What happened??"
"Accidents and the world is not as peaceful as it seems. "
"What do you mean?"
"Well, there are good guys and bad guys, my family has many, many enemies. " " Who is your family that they have so many enemies?"

"It's none ofyourbusiness, if I told you, I'd have to kill them. " I smiled slightly when I remembered the movie I was quoting. "Hahaha, how funny"  Fury said dry.

" Oh please, don't get furious" I grinned at him, proud about my puns. He just shot me a glare and continued.

"Where did they learn to fight?"

"As I said, my family has many enemies, we are being trained. "
"If they are trained, how can there be so many deaths?"
"Our enemies are trained too, and sometimes you're not quick enough to prevent something. " I looked at the table, tears threatening to come into my eyes, but I blinked them away, I couldn't show any weakness. As I looked up again, I could see a glint of pity in Natashas eyes, but Probably the lights were fooling me. 
"Well, that's enough for now, we'll send others to question you. "
I sighed softly as they left the room.

Bruce:

I looked at Fury when he came out with Natasha. "She seems to have a hard life. " I looked back at the girl, it looked sad. "Banner, they're going to go next and see what her mental stability is like. " I looked up at Fury and nodded. Then I entered the room.
"Hello, my name is Bruce Banner, I'm gonna ask you a few questions about your health. " She looked at me from her beautiful green eyes. I had never seen eyes like that. "Have any special conditions ever been noticed?
"Yes, ADHD, dyslexika PTSD and slight depressions. "
Astonished I looked at her, PTSD at such a young age, what could have happened to her?
"Have you ever had bone fractures, poisonings or burns?"
She laughed. " Too many, I've probably broken every bone in my body once or twice. I've probably had poisoning around them five times, as well as severe burns. I've had light burns several times. " I stared at her in horror. I would have said she was lying if I didn't know she couldn't lie due to the serum.
"Okay, I'm going to say a word and you're going to answer it with the first word that comes into your head. She nodded.

"Dead" I starred at her horrified. Then grasped me again and asked further.

With each name she became sadder and with the last name a tear came out of the corner of her eyes. I stretched out my hand and stroked over her arm, feeling sorry for her.
I walked out the door depressed.
"She seems to have experienced a lot. Her mental health is not so bad, but far from good. " I told Fury. "I found her file, her real file, since she isn't Harper.", Tony suddenly shouted out of the corner, we ran to him and looked over his shoulder.
