Bree's POV

It's June and the games are beginning to get really warm. I've been working steadily with Nora since graduation. By August she plans to start traveling. Her and her three friends, Elaine, Melanie and Lola are setting out for their first state of Washington. They plan on doing this RV trip from the top of Washington all the way down to the bottom of California. I think it's a great start to their adventure.

On August first the shop will become mine. I'll have full ownership. Nora didn't want to sell it to me, she wants to retire and still be on the profits. She originally only wanted twenty percent but I reformatted it to 40. I tried to make it 50 and 50 but she just refused to do that. We settled on 60 to 40 percent. I didn't want her to have no profit off a place that she created out of her own passion and mind. We have hired a few woodworkers to be on rotation as well as one girl who specializes in metal and glass work. Now that we got three people running it and an assistant up front from last month we are looking to be a well oiled machine.

Fin is going to be at a game in San Francisco today and wants me to come to his hotel. I told him I'd be able to make it to the game if he'd like, but he just said he'd like to sleep by me tonight. I told him I'd be there.

As we close shop for the night, Nora tells me to enjoy my time in San Francisco. I told her I would and I'll make sure Fin calls her. She hasn't been able to tell him all her plans fully and she'd like to do that. He never really has the full time to sit down and hear her plan.

I have a plan to make the online ordering process our main platform. Right now it's a blend of in person calls and online ordering. I want to make sure our site has everything it needs and some customization spots. I think we could look into getting some of our products into shops around California as well. Those homemade shops downtown could host a few of our signs in stock and sell them that way. While that would be more along the lines of manufacturing, I think it could help get a kick start to some great projects.

We have a few great pieces being worked on right now and I think that once they are done they will look great. I have to figure out a way to market us in a better light without trying to copy some others. Nora started off on Etsy and Pinterest and has been staying there. I added a profile on Amazon, as well as a whole site and social media profile. It's been steady since Christmas and we picked up during Valentines as well. Now that it's summer, it's been a nice stream with some anniversaries, weddings, and more.

Weddings and big events are next on my list. Figuring out how to market us to that group would be great.

Pulling off the exit, I bit my lip thinking of Fin. We've been pretty steady and great for the duration of his season. I mean it's only June, but I didn't expect things to be going this well. I was surprised to see him at my graduation, too. That was an influx of social media attention. People had snippets and side photos of us walking and in our own bubble. Some even posted videos as we walked to the car. I thought that that was a big thing and became a little more cautious of who I hang out with.

My phone rang and I picked up for Khloe who is calling me. "Hey Khloe."

"Girl hi! Are you heading to the hotel tonight?"

"Yes, I just got off on the exit? Are you three there?"

"Totally are. We were hoping you'd come down!"

"I'm only here for the night since Nora and I have a business dinner tomorrow night, but I am here-- well almost."

"Well shit we have to go out to eat! I heard of this sushi bar that is literally is only open for night owls. We got to go!" I let out a laugh and knew there would be no way out of this.
