Finnlay's POV
Jacking off every night to that picture of Bree is not as satisfying as it is having myself lodged into her. I've been gone since February and now it's the end of March. We have a three game series in two weekends and I'm hoping to get Bree, and my mom, out here for the weekend games. I've been able to talk to Bree everyday, even if some days are fleeting.
She graduates in a month, so there is lots to do there. Apparently there is also some secret happening between her and my mom. Everytime I ask about the business they are quick to shut me down. Which, in turn, only makes me more curious. Our first two game series of the actual season have been away games. Unfortunately for me and my cock, they have been further away from Bree. Not that she would have come out for a Wednesday night game, but maybe. A guy and his cock can hope.
Flopping onto the bus seats I spun my hat backwards and looked over to Alec who is most likely texting his wife. They got married in a spur of the moment thing last year. We had an unusual four days off, and they just went to city hall, got hitched and now they are crazier in love.
Alec looked over to me with a raised eyebrow, looked me up and down and laughed. I flipped him off and Brody came strolling down and sat in front of Alec. Eddie is in front of me on the bus. I got too long of legs to share a two seater row with anybody. Unless it's Bree. I'd have her legs all over me.
I managed to purchase tickets for all three games for Bree and my mom. I asked Eddie if his wife, Naomi, and daughter, Gianna, are coming and he said they are. Alec's wife, Daisy, and Brody's girl, Khloe, are coming too. They all got front seats behind our dugout. They like to switch it up. While some players get their wives a group luxury box or behind home plate seats, those three women have switched it up. Sometimes they sit higher up behind home plate in foul ball territory, sometimes they sit way out in the outfield to have some fun with Gianna-- there's more room back there and sometimes they like to be behind the dugout or on the first base line.
They are women like any other. When I was with my first team out in Texas, the wives were something else. Dedicated lives to the sport, had to get luxury seats and boxes because of the heat and literally traveled to almost all of the away games. It was crazy. Being with the Padres for the past few years, and most of my career, I've seen how lax and cool the wives and girlfriends are. They do not, well majority of them, need to be with us 24/7.
I've asked Eddie the most about how he has done all this. I mean since he has a daughter, and is expecting again, they have a home in Arizona close by the spring training ballpark, a home in San Diego, and for the winter and holidays a home up in Montana. I know he's a damn good catcher, but hell three homes?
He just got his contract for four more years with the Padres. We were all a little worried last November when trading rumors started going. Even Eddie was making a plan to pack in a jiffy. I just got my contract for a 9 year contract. I mean it was originally 10, but already a season is done. For now, I believe I'm safe for a handful of years before I need to start thinking about my packing plan.
Alec has two more years on his contract with us as a first baseman, he's the oldest one of us all in his mid thirties. Brody is the youngest. He is only twenty-two, granted I'm only twenty-three but still. Brody is living year by year right now. Last year was his rookie year and we bonded a lot. I got to know a ton about his life in Boston, where he's from, and guided him through his first year. He's a damn good short-stop too.
Brody spun in his seat and looked to me popping out an airpod. "So, Khloe says she is really excited to meet your girl."
I rubbed at the slight stubble on my chin and pressed my lips together. "She's not my girl yet."
"What does that mean?" Eddie said, moving into view from the aisle.
"Well we've been talking everyday but like I mentioned I think the schedule is freaking her out."
"How constantly we move around or just how busy we are?" Brody said. Alec picked up on our conversation and took his beats off and laid them around his neck.
"I think for her it's more how much we travel and the status that comes with all this." I didn't want to tell them about her fear about me leaving her, but I do need some help on how to actually get Bree to trust me to take care of her. "I mean..." I trailed off second guessing myself.
"I think you keep doing what you're doing." Brody said. "Stick with talking to her everyday because that's the term she gave you, ya know?" I shrugged and picked up my phone waiting on the text from her on how one of her final presentations went.
"We got a game the day she graduates. An away game." I tapped my fingers on my knee and looked over at Brody.
"Wow, you really like her. Last season you couldn't even fathom how I've been with Khloe since high school." I flipped him off and all three of them laughed.
"Yes, I'm hoping she'll come. My mom said she'd get her in the car... but I have no idea. They should be here tonight." Our weekend of three games against the Giants. It was the same home opener last year, too. They unfortunately kicked our ass. Granted we ended up making it to the second round of the playoff, unlike them, but still. Home opener loss.
I'm almost giddy with the thought of going home tonight and getting to see Bree. With my mom taking over my bedroom in my condo, because that is what my mom deserves is a good bed, Bree will either take the air mattress or the couch. Either way, I'll be right beside her. Hopefully.
Mom hasn't told me yet if she got Bree with her. I wish she would stop being so sneaky about it. I know she wants to ask me all the questions.
"So you got big plans tonight then?" I rolled my eyes at Alec across from me and shook my head.
"Mom is also here so I'm trying to be classy."
Eddie let out a snort and shook his head. "Yeah, no-- tryna be classy is how we got pregnant for the second time." Brody let out a low howl and I shook my head.
I got my room all set for my mom. New sheets and pillow cases and what not. I wish I had a second room here, but usually there is no need for that. I picked up a large King air mattress to put in the living room. Now I'm sitting on my couch watching one of my youtube channels waiting for them to show up. I'm not sure if my mom wants to keep the suspense or what.
Bree told me her presentation went well and she hopes she gets a good grade. She only has a few more classes to do before she is done. A beep sounded and connected me to the intercom system that goes to the main lobby. "Mr. Geraldi, your mother is here with a guest. I am letting them up per your request."
"Yes, thank you Harry." After closing the intercom I fist pumped a bit. Bree is here.
She came for the weekend.
A knock on my door had me speedily there. It's about 10 at night, which is fine with me. I swung the door open and gave my mom a grin. "Hi mom, glad you made it okay." I wrapped her in a hug and grabbed her bags walking inside. I saw Bree standing back a little nervously and after I set my mom's bags on the couch I turned to her and gave her a big grin. "You made it."
She nodded a bit shyly and I resisted the urge to kiss her in this moment. "Fin-- I have to go to the bathroom you'll take care of my stuff right? Okay, good." My mom fled to the bathroom down the hallway, leaving her jacket and purse on the couch as well. I chuckled but then immediately turned to Bree and took some steps in her direction. She has a little duffle bag with her and I took it out of her hands and carefully dropped it on the floor.
I opened my arms to embrace her and waited for her to take that step. Once she did I encased her in my embrace and let my head dip into her hair. With my arms around her waist I lifted her up and spun her a bit. "I've missed you."
"We talk everyday," she giggled out. I put her down and gave us some space cupping her cheek with my hand.
"Mmm, this is so much better."
She pulled back and grabbed her bag just as my mom came back down the hallway. While my mom focused on something on her phone I slid my hand in Bree's ass pocket and kissed her cheek. She took an intake of breath and relaxed into me.
Oh yeah, this is better than texts.
