I try not to trip as I navigate my way on the rocky terrain up the mountain. The very one a UFO broke through one time. I gasp, grabbing a branch as I almost slip, the sound of crunching gravel beneath my feet being drowned by the loud noise of my heart. Deep breaths, Y/N. I try to focus on my breathing as I feel my heart race like crazy, pulsating in my ears. Slowly, I let go of the branch and started to continue my journey. I try to ignore the shadows of the leaves. While I don't have time to get caught, I don't have time to waste either. The faster I'm up there, the faster Mabel and Dipper can get to safer grounds. The air feels cold, causing me to feel like my breath is being cut off. If I don't do this, the slim chance of the world surviving will die with me. I can't let that happen. Slowly, I reach the top, it being harder to hide out here as there are no trees to cover me. "Time for the signal-" I stand behind a rock, hidden away from the tetrahedron in the sky. Carefully, I take a mirror and reflect the sun towards the water tower.
A few moments go by, and no reply. We didn't discuss what I should do in this scenario! Did something happen? What if they can't make it on time? My breathing starts to speed up as I feel my palms start to sweat. Shit, what should I do?!
Luckily, I don't have to choose as a bright light blinds me for a second. It's Dipper! A loud female voice echoes from the mattress store, an easy run from the water tower, giving Dipper enough time to get down. "HEY BILL! KNOCK KNOCK! WHO'S THERE?! NOT YOU BECAUSE WE'RE GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS!"
Bill, who hears Mabel's taunting, looks at her suspiciously. This feels like a trap.
"Why do demons make terrible gardeners? They can't handle too much light," Dipper continues, also through a megaphone, but on the water tower. They start to sweat as it doesn't seem to be working. "Mabel, it's not working, what do we do?" Dipper asks on their radio as he covers the megaphone.
"I-I don't know- try finding his trigger! What makes demons angry?" "Um, things they can't have?" "How will that make the- wait- you're a genius Dipper!"
"OI BILL! WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND WENDY?! NEITHER OF YOUR HAVE DICKS BUT ATLEAST SHE'S MORE OF A MAN THAN YOU ARE!"
Dipper's eyes gawk at the ruthless comment of his twin sister. Where did she learn that language from?! She- knows what she's doing, right? "I DISAGREE MABEL! HE MIGHT NOT HAVE ONE BUT HE IS ONE!"
I slap my forehead. Why would Bill care at all about male sex organs he doesn't have?! Besides, when he's in human form, he probably does have one because Bill would find it hilarious! Also, where the hell did they learn this kind of language?! A bright yellow flash surges through the sky, catching me off guard. Wait- really? Bill is really insecure about his delicates?
"I'LL SHOW-!"
"EVEN HIS TEMPER IS OF A TODDLER"
"DON'T EXAGGERATE MABEL! EVEN TODDLERS HAVE LESS OF A TANTRUM THAN HIM!"
Dipper and Mable start to move, hiding from building to building, making Bill circle, unable to find them. Speaking of which, I should probably head inside so he's unable to see me sneak in. This distraction probably won't last as long as we'd like.
I quickly push myself up to the last bit of the mountain, the highest part. As I reach the top of the mountain, I get hit by a dizzy spell, feeling dizzy and queasy at how high up I am. If I were to fall, I'd be dead for sure. Taking a deep breath, I gather my courage, leap, and jump. My hand is barely able to grab onto the corner of the tetrahedron. I use all the strength in me to pull myself up onto the bricks. Pressing my body against the pyramid stones, I slowly shuffle around to the big entrance. A few small bodies far underneath me move, and I try not to look, already knowing it'll make me more dizzy. Far underneath me, are Grunkle Ford and Grunkle Stan. As well as every other person needed in the Zodiac circle, other than Mabel and Dipper. The group is hiding in the shadow of the pyramid as Grunkle Ford starts to carve a major Circle. I spot a speck of white, green, and copper, and I feel my heart skip a beat. Wendy-
