"I'm ready to apologize, for real this time. My mother is keeping the Manor and I'm going to stay there with her. My father wants me to move out with him, but you mean more to me than he does."

"Why is she keeping the Manor?" I asked.

"The Minister of Magic said that was the most fair solution seeing as he's verbally abusive and has been having an affair." he sighed, "He's moving in with the woman."

I was left with nothing to say.

"I'm sorry for the things I've said and I'm sorry for how I ended things. I should have believed you. I should have believed he's a terrible person. I've seen him as my role model and I guess I've been blinded. I know it's no excuse, but I'm sorry."

He does want to fix things and to make everything better between us. But why did he follow me all the way to Paris to do it? We approached the bakery and in the alley I could hear talking.

"Why won't you come back to my place?" A man's voice spoke. He sounded angry and aggressive.

"I need to go home." A woman responded.

I heard some sounds of a struggle before I crept through the alleyway with Draco- both of us with a wand in hand. I know it's wrong and against every rule of being a witch or a wizard, but what else am I supposed to do?

The man had his hands on the woman's arm, attempting to drag her with him and when he saw us, he thought we were just some kids with toy sticks in our hands. "Out of my way." he asserted though we stood our ground.

"Sectumsempra!" Draco muttered with a flick of his wand, immediately inflicting pain on the man. The woman stepped back and collected her bag that had fallen, eager to get the hell out of here.

Draco quickly obliviated the man but I could see he didn't hate to see people in pain, especially those who particularly deserve it. We entered the French Wizarding World to see an alley similar to Diagon Alley, but it was brighter and had a lot of vines and greenery.

"Why did you use Sectumsempra?" I asked.

"Because I know just how bad it hurts and I couldn't just kill him in the back of an empty alley."

"And did you not think to obliviate her as well?"

"That slipped my mind." he said, "You could have done it!"

"I'm not used to those kinds of situations! How would I have known to obliviate her?"

I could see he was fighting an urge to say something sarcastic like Use common sense. I'm glad he did because it reminded me of year 6 at Hogwarts when we were always making rude remarks to each other. We've both drastically changed as people which is why we control what comes out of our mouths now.

In the Alley there were men and women speaking French to each other. I probably should have thought about how I was going to speak with people who can't speak English. We wandered into a shop that was large and had all sorts of things. One aisle had milk and eggs while the next had paper and envelopes.

The next aisle had a few general books that were most likely classics. I searched among them until I found a French to English dictionary. I didn't budget for this or having to buy four of them for the four countries I need to visit.

We took it to the man at the counter who used hand gestures to talk to us. Once we were done in the shop, I asked for floo powder and used it to get to the French Ministry of Magic. I had to say the location in French which took me various tries to get right. Draco followed behind.
