I ran into the house to bring Timothee to the maid and followed Draco into the woods. It was no use searching as they most likely used apparition and could be ages away by now. Our girls could be ages away by now.

We returned to the manor to brainstorm what to do next.

"We should report it to the ministry." I said.

"They'll never believe us. They think my father is amazing and to be praised."

"Then we won't tell them who." I offered, "We cannot simply sit around hoping that he will return them."

"What did the ministry do that night when my father broke into the twins' flat? Or when he broke down the door to your shop? Nothing."

I stood opposite him, taken aback by what he was saying. Verity's attack was because of him? And when the men came looking for the elder wand? Though that part is not a shock.

"How do you know all of that?"

"Enzo has told me some things, and so has my mother." He replied, "Though that is not very important."

He was trying to brush it off.

"Your father was never found responsible for the night Verity broke in." I commented.

"He used her to break in and to try to kill you. And when he broke into the shop, he was coming for one thing."

The wand.

Does Draco know about the wand? Does he know how it's my fault for keeping it and it's led to the kidnapping of our girls?

I avoided saying anything more and approached our large fireplace. He followed behind and offered me the bowl of floo powder. I threw it and moments later was in the ministry of magic.

"I need to speak with Mr. Berkshire." I said to a woman at a desk.

"Who?"

"Mr. Berkshire." I repeated, louder this time.

"Who?" The woman was chewing on a sandwich, so obviously could not hear me.

I went to another desk and repeated the reason I had come. This woman was not very kind either, but was at least able to direct me to where he should be.

I approached him and gave him a bit of a startle.

"Else!" he exclaimed and gave me a hug to which I melted into tears.

"What's wrong?" he asked and grabbed a tissue to wipe my tears, "If it's Draco, I'll kill him."

"Lucille and Marilyn were kidnapped." I continued to cry much more than I thought I would. He still kept wiping the tears and offered me a seat.

"When? Do you know who it was?"

"It was Draco's dad. He's had it out from me from the minute I became friends with Draco."

"Do you think that's why he took the girls?" he said sympathetically.

"Probably to make me suffer. Why can't he just leave us alone?"

"We should get this filed and get an investigation done on Lucius." Enzo stood and offered me a hand.

I took it, "Do you really think they'll find anything? Like enough to get him fired?"
