I hate writing this part and for those of you who, just like myself, simp over George, I am so so sorry. Please don't kill me, but long story short, you may end up heartbroken??

But then again, those of you who simp over Lorenzo and Draco may end up heartbroken as well??

Please don't kill me.

Elsie Granger

December 25th

The day had finally come, my favorite day of the year. Well almost.

I woke up beside George who had a smile on his face. Today was going to be a good day.

"Good morning," he cheered as he smiled at me.

"Good morning."

"Sleep well?" he questioned, not breaking our eye contact.

The way he spoke, settled my upsets and eased my mind. I loved and also hated it. One side of me enjoys his comforts and appreciation while the other can't stand it.

I hate that side of me.

We rolled out of bed to get some breakfast, and Fred had already left. George insisted on me going ahead of him on the stairs because "Ladies first," and I agreed. We reached the kitchen to a nearly full table of redheads eating.

Hermionie and Harry had also gotten back late last night and were sitting beside Ron, allowing me to sit beside Georgie again.

No ew.

George.

Not Georgie.

We all indulged into our breakfast before Molly handed presents to each of us. Though we already knew what was inside the wrapping, everybody was extremely grateful for the gift. At the same time, we all unwrapped them and saw a Christmas sweater, nearly identical to the ones I've seen Harry and Ron wear around school.

Ron, Harry, and Hermionies were all Gryffindor colors with variation to the pattern in each. Fred and George received home decor for their flat in Diagon Alley, and I received a Weasley sweater.

Mine, unlike everybody else's, was green and gray, Slytherin colors.

With appreciative smiles across our faces, we all thanked Molly for the gifts before she urged us to try them on. I slipped it on over my top and we all modeled them for Molly.

Ron looked to be over it, but still thankful at the same time.

The day was spent together as we all played games and told stories to each other. The twins were making jokes and even placed a whoopee cushion underneath Harry's seat, causing the room to become filled with laughter.

The mail came, and Fred leaped from his seat to fetch it.

"This one's for you," he began passing out mail, "And this is for you, Elsie," he gave me a concerned look. I was scared before even looking down at the letter.

It was addressed "To Elsie" and below it was written "From Draco". Now I understood why he had such a harsh expression on his face.

I sat back down and opened my letter. Other people were opening theirs, so not all eyes were on me.

Dear Elsie,

We need to talk.

-Draco

That sentence made my heart drop, but then again, why would we need to talk? He's not breaking things off as we haven't talked in ages, so what bad news could he say to me?
