Elsie Granger

Around four years ago, I gave birth to twins, two girls. The first we named Lucille and the second, Marilyn. Three years later, I gave birth to Timothee. During the two pregnancies, Hermione cared for me as she works at St. Mungos.

The last five years have been full of highs and lows, including our wedding and Draco losing his job at the ministry. Draco finally asked me to marry him just before the twins came and the wedding was in August, the month the babies were supposed to come.

Not only have we gotten married and had kids, but the Longbottoms have had two, one daughter and one son. Their daughter Lily, is about three and their son, Ivy is about a year old. Ivy and Timothee are only a few months apart.

Hermione and Ron got married and had two children, Rose who is three and Hugo who is one. Because Hermione was pregnant the same time I was the second time, another healer had to assist with my delivery.

Lorenzo got married to Kiera, but they decided not to have any kids. Fred got married to Angelina Johnson and they've been unsuccessful in their attempts to have children. They aren't financially capable of adoption, so they're always happy when a babysitting opportunity arises.

One person who has remained single ever since we broke up is George. We talk on occasion and he's even done some magic tricks for Lucille and Marilyn.

We now no longer live in Diagon Alley and I gave George the flat considering Fred is married and he would not like to hear all that. In the manor now lives Narcissa, Draco, myself, and our three kids. Luckily there is plenty of space and enough rooms for each of us to have our own bedroom and bathroom.

Narcissa likes to teach them to bake with her, though they aren't old enough to do more than lick the spoon and make a mess. Molly has been busy at work making sweaters for all of the kids including Ron's and mine. She's almost adopted me as her daughter.

Each of the kids has a little sweater with their first initial, L, M, and T.

The wand shop is still running just as it used to and Ron is still my most valued employee, but that's only because he's the only one.

Though a lot has changed, a lot hasn't. Draco and I are happy, but we do have lots of ups and downs. I've found that we're both very irritable and can make things very difficult. There was a time after the girls were born that Draco refused to talk to me for a week and a half. He claims it was because he was too stressed with the baby's cries to sleep so he slept in a secluded bedroom and practically lived at Theo's flat.

I understand being stressed and how past trauma can make it worse, but not talking to me for ten days?

After he lost his job, I asked him if he'd like to stay home with the kids and homeschool them to which he declined. He would rather find another job, which he did. His father has ruined his reputation across the wizarding world, so he was forced into the muggle workplace. He settled on being a delivery driver for a pizza joint.

Eventually, he had his license taken away and was fired. He got other jobs too, all to avoid being home. Maybe it was because he didn't want to be like his father, sulking around the manor and making everybody miserable. If he would have just talked to me about it, we could have found a solution.

Now he works at a supermarket where he stocks shelves and catches customers stealing candy bars. It's about as close to becoming an auror as he can be with his lack of qualifications.

Other than that, our relationship is fairly good.

Everyone around us seems to have good relationships with their partners as well, but for all I know, they could all be just as flawed as us.
