Elsie Granger

I didn't tell Draco what had happened and why I was feeling so upset and stressed. I only told him I wanted to go get drinks with him. Truthfully I wanted more than that; to get so drunk I have no more worries. For the night at least.

There were many people in the bar, many old and many too young but must've lied to get inside.

I began by ordering a drink at the bar and sipping it as I talked with Draco.

"What's gotten you so stressed?" I asked.

"The wine cellar has been running empty," he sighed, "Without my fathers large sums of money, the supply goes quickly."

"That's not true, what's the real reason?"

The Malfoy's wine cellar was never going to run dry and everybody knew it. There was enough wine for every witch and wizard to drink for the next five hundred years. And that's if we all drink four bottles a day!

Besides, they will brew more by the end of the five hundred years and there will be three times as much as there is now. That cellar will be packed to the brim with wines and alcohols until the family dies out.

"My father is trying to get me fired." he sighed as he drank a quarter of his drink in one sip.

"What? Why?"

"He told the minister I stole some important documents and though the minister knows it's a lie, my father has threatened to take further action."

What if Lucius is the one who took the elder wand and that's his idea of 'taking further action'.

I know what he is capable of and I would not like to be the one to find out what more he can do.

"Why would he want you fired?" I asked.

"I'm the only thing in the way of him and my mom. I doubt he wants to be around her anymore but who's to say he doesnt want to just terrorize her one last time?"

We had both drunk our first drink to the bottom and approached the bar, requesting more.

"What about you?" He gave me sweet eyes that showed me I could be vulnerable. It was almost as though he knew there was something. He knew I couldn't share it. It was as if he was pulling the information from a locked vault just because I'm kind enough to open it for him. No

I put the vault key into my pocket and was ready to protect it with my life. "Just stressed from work I suppose."

"I can tell when you're not telling the truth, what's going on?" He rubbed his thumb over mine as we held hands. His actions made me want to tell him. My heart was so desperately trying to tell him but my head was stopping it.

My anxiety rose as I tried to think of another lie. Thankfully my panic was cut short when a set of familiar faces appeared beside Draco. Lorenzo, Theo, and Blaise. Draco's attention shifted from me to the group and before I knew it, he was gone.

I sat on a tall stool at the bar, and Draco sat at a round table on the other side of the room. Enzo had decided to stay with me as I would be lonely without his company.

"Sorry we stole Draco away from you," he smiled, "It's been a while."

"You saved me actually. He was trying to pry information out of me and I didnt want to give in."

"Sounds like my Elsie."

I smiled and ordered Lorenzo a drink before he could insist on paying for it.

"I see you two have made up," he smiled, "Theo tells me all about Draco's new girlfriend and supposedly... Don't mention this to Draco or he'll kill me. Apparently he's planning to dump her because of her poor hygiene."
