Draco Malfoy

"Hey Granger!"

"What do you want?" she shouted back at me, she seemed annoyed.

"What the hell is your problem?"

"Draco," she began, "You catch me shagging somebody and you tell the whole bloody school that I have some disease."

"I thought it was funny," I laughed.

"Would it be funny if I stopped helping you with your bloody assignments or papers?"

"So now you wanna be an ass about that?"

Here we go again with Elsie's dumb fucking arguments.

"And what if I told the entire school that Draco Malfoy fucked a mudblood," she questioned, "Huh?"

"Elsie."

"What if you have my diseases, Malfoy," she continued, "The diseases you believe me to have. Or- or, what if I told the entire bloody school how you confessed your love for me?"

I sat speechless, unknowing of how to respond to her argument.

"What do you want me to do," I coughed, "So you don't spread rumors about me."

"I want you to start with shutting the fuck up, and then either tell the whole school it was a joke, or I'll spread one of my rumors about you," she said, "Your choice, Malfoy."

"Elsie-" I was cut off.

"You have until Friday," she spat before walking away.

The rest of the afternoon was spent thinking about what the fuck I was going to do about this. If she spreads a rumor about me, my reputation will be ruined and she'll get what she wants.

That's one of the last things I want, for her to get what she wants.

By Friday, I had told many people that what I told them was a complete joke and expressed how apologetic I was about spreading the rumors. Some people were more accepting of my apology, while others weren't.

I did my absolute best to listen to what Elsie said, not because I liked her or wanted to listen, I was trying to save myself.

My work was done, I told dozens of people it was a lie that I made up just to see how she'd react.

To further show my apology, I wrote a letter to Elsie and apologized once more. This time, part of me meant it.

Elsie was infecting me with something. It made me not hate her anymore, it was unusual.

"Oh Malfoy!" she cooed as I entered the common room. It was Friday morning, the day I needed to have "unspread" the rumor by.

I handed the letter to her and verbally apologized and told her that I followed her instruction.

She had a proud and happy look on her face, she didn't look upset.

I don't know what she's doing to me, maybe she bought a love potion and slipped it into my drink or something. I've done my absolute best to resist my feelings, which so far hasn't been too bad.

Every time I needed help with an assignment, I'd treat her with kindness so she wouldn't push me away. I found every way possible to spend time with her.

If she wanted to go for a stroll, I offered to go. If she wanted to go to Hogsmeade, I offered to go, and pay if she needed me to. If she needed anything, I made sure to be there for her.

The whole fighting my feelings isn't going as well as I had thought it would.
