Elsie Granger

"My name's Liam."

The more I looked at him, the less he resembled Snape. I feel gross to even compare this nice man to such a horrible and evil man.

"I'm Elsie," I replied, "I really like your shirt."

"It would be a crime to hate it." He laughed, "Have you seen all of the ship yet?"

"Not yet."

"You need to check out the pools and room A301, it's the biggest room on the boat and has plenty to do."

"When is it open? The room with plenty to do?"

"Anytime, maybe I'll see you there sometime?" He gave me a wink before walking away from the bar.

I returned to Hermione to tell her what happened.

"His name is Liam and there is no ring on his finger." I smiled.

"Did he pay for your drink?"

"No, but he did tell me where we can go on the ship when we need something to do. He said it's room A301."

"Elsie."

"Hm?" I replied.

"You're an idiot! He invited you to his room." She whispered, "To have sex."

"What? He said it was more like an activity center. I'm going to go there now to prove you wrong."

"You have an opportunity to have a fling that you will never see again in your life and you would rather go to an activity center?"

"It's not like that, Hermione."

"Then what is it like, Elsie?"

"I don't know if I should."

"There won't be any consequences, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity." She urged.

"I'll go, and even if youre right, I won't have sex with him."

***

Hermione was right. She was more than I care to admit. Whether we only slept together or anything more, I'll spare the details.

All I will say though is that I need to take more risks and find my sense of adventure again. In Hogwarts, I snuck out of the girls' dormitories practically every night and now I would rather stay in the manor or at work instead of having fun.

Granted, I have kids now and it would be selfish to leave them often.

In the morning, Hermione and I met at the hot tub which was empty apart from us. As much as I enjoy having children, it is so nice to have time away from them.

She begged for details but a piece of me felt immense guilt for sleeping with a man I didn't even know. I'm still married to Draco technically.

I tried telling myself he would want me to be happy, even if it's with somebody else. It hasn't even been long enough. Guilt ate away at my mind and heart until the silence was interrupted.

"How did I know that you'd be here?" The flowery man had come from around a corner and was wearing another florally patterned shirt.

I broke my concentration from my drink and met his eyes. He wasn't looking at me. Instead, his eyes were fixed on a tall woman with piercing green eyes who was sitting beside the pool.

His wife? Friend? Or was she what I was? A whore.

"Watch Dylan for a minute, I need to use the bathroom." The woman said, pointing to a young boy. Not only married, but had a family?
